Join now >Michael Gallup catches two passes in Week 4.
Gallup gained 45 yards on his two receptions, including a long reception of 37 yards on a deep ball. The rookie receiver is more of a dynasty-league option for now, but his emergence as a reliable deep threat will help Dak Prescott and the Cowboys.

Cole Beasley catches four-of-five targets in Cowboys’ win.
Beasley gained 53 yards on his four receptions in the Week 4 victory against the Lions. Through four games, Beasley is on pace for a 64/740/0 line, and he’s not a recommended fantasy option.

Ronald Jones II makes NFL debut in blowout loss to the Bears.
Jones rushed ten times for 29 yards and caught a pass for a one-yard loss. Tampa Bay’s second-round pick was a healthy inactive to begin his career, but he got some playing time in a game that got out of hand quickly on Sunday. It’ll be interesting to see if the Bucs completely change things up by giving Jones the start when they return from their Week 5 bye to face the Falcons, but Peyton Barber has a better all-around game and probably is the safer fantasy option at this point due to his ability as a pass-protector and pass-catcher.

Tavon Austin gets one carry in Week 4.
Austin gained seven yards on his lone attempt against Detroit. Austin missed some time with a shoulder injury, but hopefully he’s OK moving forward.

Rod Smith gets five touches against the Lions.
Smith had six carries for 22 yards and one reception for no yards in the Week 5 win. Smith is an excellent backup to Ezekiel Elliott, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option as long as Zeke remains on the field.

Ezekiel Elliott explodes for over 200 yards in Cowboys’ win.
The Lions came into the game with the best pass defense in the NFL in terms of yardage, so the Cowboys attacked on the ground by feeding Elliott. Elliott had 25 carries for 152 yards and added four receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown. The score was a screen pass that went for 38 yards. The 240 total yards was a career high for the third-year running back, and he became the first player in the NFL with 200+ scrimmage yards in a game this season. Elliott is on pace for 292 carries, 1,704 rushing yards, eight rushing touchdowns, 60 receptions, 500 receiving yards, and four receiving touchdowns through four games. Look for the Cowboys to give him another 20+ touches in Week 5.

Jameis Winston takes over for Ryan Fitzpatrick in blowout loss to the Bears.
Returning from a three-game suspension, Winston completed 16/20 passes for 145 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, also adding a seven-yard rush. Heading into the game, it sounded like head coach Dirk Koetter wanted to play Winston at the first sign of trouble, and that’s basically what happened when he benched a guy that had a sensational stretch to start the season. It seems like Tampa Bay wants Winston to remain their quarterback of the future despite shaky on-field play and a history of off-field issues, so he is going to have a long leash on a talented offense for the rest of the season. Jameis will probably be a QB1 option in a great matchup against the Falcons when the Bucs return from their Week 5 bye.
