Butt suffered a non-contact knee injury during a walk-through, and the team fears it’s an ACL tear. This is really tough to hear, as the former Michigan tight end had his draft status take a major drop leading up to last year’s draft because of a knee injury suffered in his college game; and now, it looks like he’s torn the ACL in his other knee. Hopefully the injury isn’t as bad as it’s feared, but his season might be over after just three games.

Kyle Rudolph catches five passes in Week 4.
Rudolph was targeted six times against the Rams, gaining 57 yards on his five receptions. After just one catch in Week 1, Rudolph has at least five receptions and 48 yards in the last three games. His 16-game pace at the quarter-mark is 72 receptions for 752 yards and eight touchdowns, which is right around his career-best 2016 season.

Julio Jones (calf) was limited in today’s practice.
Julio might be limited in practice for a while with this calf ailment, but there’s no concern about him on Sundays. We’ll update you if Jones happens to be listed on the injury report tomorrow.

Cooper Kupp goes off in Week 4 win over the Vikings.
Kupp caught nine passes for 162 yards and two scores in a 38-31 victory on Thursday Night Football. The first score came in single coverage against Anthony Barr where he simply ran past the linebacker and Jared Goff hit him in stride from 70 yards out, and the second touchdown—a 19-yarder—was the highlight of the night with an amazing anticipation throw by Goff to get Kupp open in double coverage in the end zone. He might not keep his 96/1,392/16 pace at the quarter mark of the season, but Kupp is looking like a high-floor, matchup-proof WR2 in all formats.

Devonta Freeman (knee) was limited in today’s practice.
This is a step in the right direction for Freeman after he missed the last two games with his knee injury. It’s probably a stretch for him to play this Sunday against the Bengals, but it’s a good sign nonetheless. We’ll update you on Freeman’s official game status when it’s released tomorrow.

JuJu Smith-Schuster (abdomen) was limited in today’s practice.
Smith-Schuster didn’t practice yesterday. Ideally, we’d see him off the injury report when it’s released tomorrow, but his Week 4 status isn’t in much doubt. JuJu is off to a heck of a start to the season with 100+ yards in each game, and we don’t anticipate this slowing him down much.

Rob Gronkowski (ankle) was limited in today’s practice.
Gronk might again be limited tomorrow, but we expect he’ll be taken off the Week 4 injury report ahead of the weekend. The bigger concern for Gronkowski is avoiding the constant aggressive double-teams he’s been drawing this season.
