Join now >Matt Breida (knee) was a full participant in today’s practice.
Breida was limited in yesterday’s practice because of his hyperextended knee, but it was just the team taking things slow. Breida, who is tied for the league lead in rushing through three weeks, is ready to go for Week 4 against the Chargers. You can safely insert him into your lineup as an RB2/FLEX option despite Jimmy Garoppolo not being under-center for the Niners. C.J. Beathard checked the ball down a lot last season, and Breida could benefit from that if he turns short passes into big plays.

Mike Boone gets one touch in Vikings’ loss.
Boone caught one pass in the flat for one yard against the Rams. He’s a real-life contributor and not a fantasy contributor at the moment.

Dalvin Cook (hamstring) is officially active tonight.
Everything checked out fine in pre-game warmups, so Cook is ready to go tonight against the Rams. Cook will reportedly be on a pitch count tonight, which should mean a pretty-evenly split backfield with the very capable Latavius Murray. So while Cook isn’t his usual RB1 status, he’s a solid fantasy option and can be inserted into lineups to kick off Week 4.

David Morgan II catches one pass in Vikings’ loss.
Morgan’s lone reception went for three yards, and he also temporarily filled in as the long snapper because of a brief injury. Morgan is not currently on the fantasy radar.

Keenan Allen (knee/tooth) did not practice today.
This is Allen’s second straight missed practice, so there is some slight concern for his Week 4 status. The tooth thing is something new, so maybe that’s really the cause of another missed practice. Hopefully Allen is able to get back on the practice field tomorrow.

Gerald Everett catches on pass in win over the Vikings.
It went for 13 yards. Everett has just three receptions for 33 yards to start the season, as Sean McVay’s offense runs through Todd Gurley and the wideouts. He can be left on the waiver wire in redraft leagues.

Jake Butt officially suffered a torn ACL, the team announced.
This is a very unfortunate situation for the second-year tight end, as the former two-time All-American has had both of his first two NFL seasons wiped out by injuries. Butt’s season ends with eight receptions for 85 yards in three games. We wish him luck on his recovery and hope to see him back and better than ever in 2019. Jeff Heuerman will handle the majority of tight-end snaps for the Broncos moving forward, but he’s not a highly-recommended fantasy option.
