Join now >Dion Lewis gets 12 touches in Week 3.
Lewis had nine carries for 26 yards and three receptions (on three targets) for 14 yards in the win over Jacksonville. Meanwhile, Derrick Henry carried the ball 18 times, but there wasn’t much room to run for either of them against the Jags. Lewis will look to make more plays in Week 4 against the Eagles, and he’s in the FLEX conversation for that matchup.

Geronimo Allison scores in loss to the Redskins.
Allison caught two passes for 76 yards, including a 64-yard touchdown catch in the 31-17 defeat. Green Bay struggled to sustain drives in the second half against Washington, and overall, Allison’s score was the only play of 20+ yards for the Packers. They’ll look to get going against the suddenly rejuvenated Bills in Week 4, and Allison should see favorable coverage if Tre’Davious White is mostly on Davante Adams or Randall Cobb. Consider him a quality FLEX option.

Derrick Henry gets 18 carries in Titans’ win.
In a tough 9-6 victory against the Jaguars, the Titans relied on their big running back to grind out yardage. Henry gained 57 yards on his 18 attempts and he didn’t catch any passes in the game. It’s been a slow start to the year for Henry, and next week versus the Eagles is another difficult matchup, but we recommend remaining patient with the monster runner. Dion Lewis received nine carries compared to Henry’s 18 in the Week 3 win.

Marcus Mariota steps up in relief to help lead Texans to Week 3 victory.
Blaine Gabbert went down with a concussion early in the game, so Mariota had to step in at less than 100% while dealing with his right elbow injury. Mariota toughed it out and helped the Titans grind for a 9-6 win in Jacksonville, going 12/18 for 100 yards along with seven carries for 51 yards. Despite the elbow issue, Mariota was sharp against an elite defense, and he made enough plays to help the Titans win. The team’s franchise player was given the game ball after the game, and he drew effusive praise from his teammates. Mariota still might not be 100% by next week in a matchup with the Eagles, but the good news is the game is in Tennessee instead of in Philadelphia (where the Eagles are very tough to beat), so Mariota would have QB1 upside if he’s at full strength.

Ty Montgomery handles ten touches in Week 3 loss.
Montgomery rushed four times for 16 yards and caught six passes for 48 yards. The Packers had Aaron Jones (suspension) make his season debut on Sunday, and it caused the pecking order in the backfield to look as muddled as ever. Montgomery led the team in touches, though, and we think he might be the best option to handle the lead role with Aaron Rodgers hobbled, but we will get clarity as soon as next week against Buffalo. For now, Montgomery looks like the play in PPR formats, with all three looking risky in standard leagues.

Jamaal Williams handles seven touches in loss to the Redskins.
Williams rushed five times for 29 yards, also adding two receptions for 16 yards. The second-year back was behind Aaron Jones (six carries) and barely ahead of Ty Montgomery (four carries) on Sunday, which isn’t a good sign at all for investors. However, it was a small sample size in a two-touchdown loss, so we’ll see what happens back at home against Buffalo next week. For now, consider Williams a FLEX option with significant downside.

Vyncint Smith catches 28-yard pass against the Giants.
Smith helped fill in for an injured Bruce Ellington (hamstring), and he caught his first NFL pass. It’s been quite the ride for the undrafted rookie from Division II Limestone College. Congrats to Smith on his first career NFL catch.
