Join now >Julio Jones nears 100 yards in loss to the Saints.
Despite being contained for most of the game and Calvin Ridley (7/146/3) going nuts, Jones finished with five receptions for 96 yards. The highlight was a 58-yard bomb in the second half where Julio beat double coverage, but Ridley having a monster day will only benefit the superstar wideout in the future. As usual, consider Jones a high-end WR1 next week against the Bengals.

Rhett Ellison scores in Week 3.
Starer Evan Engram went down with a knee injury in the win against Houston, so Ellison stepped up into a full-time role for the Giants. Ellison caught all three of his targets, gaining 39 yards with the touchdown in the victory. The touchdown was a 16-yarder on a pinpoint throw to the end zone by Eli Manning. If Engram’s injury is serious, Ellison would at least have streaming value moving forward. He’s a reliable player the Giants clearly value.

Demaryius Thomas leads Broncos in Week 3 receiving.
Thomas caught all five of his targets against the Ravens, gaining 63 yards on his five receptions. His long of 22 yards was the longest reception of the day for the Broncos. DT faces a familiar foe in Week 4 when the Broncos take on the Chiefs on Monday night.

Ito Smith handles five touches in loss to the Saints.
Smith rushed twice for negative-six yards and caught three passes for 41 yards. New Orleans did a great job containing the ground game for Atlanta, so Smith did well to do some damage through the air for those who took a gamble on him in deeper leagues. The rookie should get a much easier matchup next week against a Bengals team that just allowed 193 rushing yards to Carolina running backs, and he’s on the FLEX radar if Devonta Freeman (knee) sits again.

Taysom Hill gets involved offensively as the Saints win a shootout over the Falcons.
Hill rushed three times for 39 yards, including a 35-yard run on which he nearly outran the entire defense to find the end zone. The versatile backup quarterback also returned three kicks and played his usual role on special teams. Hill isn’t on the fantasy radar, but Sean Payton pulled out all the stops in a 43-37 overtime victory, and the BYU product has proven to be a very valuable member of the roster.

Sterling Shepard scores in Week 3.
Shepard was targeted seven times against the Texans, catching six passes for 80 yards and a touchdown. The score was basically a game-sealer on a seven-yard in-breaking route in traffic, as it put the Giants up two possessions late in the fourth quarter. The third-year receiver has upside in a Week 4 matchup against the Saints.

Devontae Booker gets ten touches in Broncos’ loss.
Booker carried five times for ten yards and caught five passes for 34 yards against the Ravens. Phillip Lindsay was ejected in the first half of the game, but it didn’t lead to a lot more work on the ground for Booker. Booker is only a recommended FLEX option in very deep PPR leagues.
