Join now >The Falcons released Qadree Ollison.
Ollison made the 53-man roster for Atlanta initially, but the team is now signing Wayne Gallman and cutting Ollison. The former fifth-round pick will look to land on an active roster somewhere, but it’s probably not out of the question for him to rejoin the Falcons on the practice squad if not.

The Falcons signed Wayne Gallman.
Gallman lands in a very good spot, as Qadree Ollison has been released as a corresponding move. Gallman should have a shot to work his way into the No. 2 running back role behind Mike Davis, and he’s an intriguing selection at the end of fantasy drafts in deeper leagues in particular.

The Jaguars are signing Jacob Hollister, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Hollister had several offers after being released by the Bills, and Jacksonville would seem to provide the best chance for fantasy value. The veteran will compete with James O’Shaughnessy for snaps.

The Raiders have placed Jalen Richard on injured reserve.
Richard will now miss the first three games of the season, though Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake we’re expected to dominate touches anyway. The veteran should be back in October.

The Panthers claimed Royce Freeman.
Freeman could be as high as the team’s No. 2 running back behind Christian McCaffrey, and the news is a definite knock on the handcuff appeal of Chuba Hubbard. In the event that McCaffrey misses time, Carolina may go with more of a committee.

The Jaguars are signing Kyle Lauletta to the practice squad.
Jacksonville is relatively thin at quarterback after trading Gardner Minshew, so this should be a good spot for Lauletta. He’ll look to improve and work his way to the active roster.

The Buccaneers signed Darwin Thompson to the practice squad.
The former Chiefs running back joins the defending champs, and perhaps he’s in a good spot to learn from veteran Giovani Bernard. Thompson is someone to watch in dynasty leagues with an eye toward 2022.
