Join now >Marcus Mariota (elbow) is expected to play Sunday.
Mariota was forced to leave Week 1’s loss to the Dolphins after he had issues throwing the ball, but he practiced today and Titans head coach Mike Vrabel says he “is feeling good.” Barring any unforeseen setbacks, Mariota will be under-center this Sunday against the Texans. Consider him more of a QB2 option this week at an extremely deep position. Mariota’s presence is good news for the other skill position players on offense like Derrick Henry, Dion Lewis, and Corey Davis.

John Ross handles two touches in win over the Ravens.
Ross rushed once for negative-three yards and caught an eight-yard pass. The speedster was held without a reception for most of the game, but he nearly picked up a first down in the fourth quarter on a catch in traffic before the Bengals settled for a field goal. Ross has immense upside, but Cincinnati has struggled to get him going through two weeks. We’ll see if he can get loose against the Panthers next Sunday.

The Ravens signed De’Lance Turner to the active roster.
Kenneth Dixon (knee) has been moved to injured reserve, so Turner is being promoted from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. The 2018 undrafted free agent from Alcorn State impressed during the preseason, and he’ll look to potentially carve out a role as a rookie. Turner is not worth a fantasy pickup at the moment, but he’s someone to watch.

Chris Moore gets three touches in Ravens’ loss.
Moore had two receptions for eight receiving yards and one carry for two rushing yards versus Cincinnati. Baltimore’s No. 4 receiver is a solid real-life contributor, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option right now.

Kenneth Dixon (knee) has been placed on injured reserve.
After it was known that Dixon would miss several weeks with a knee injury, it was only a matter of time before this move was made. Unfortunately, Dixon has had trouble staying healthy, as the last two seasons have been ended by knee injuries. He didn’t appear in any games last year before being placed on IR, so this makes it just one game since 2016 for Dixon.

Giovani Bernard handles ten touches in Week 2 victory.
Bernard saw some extra work with Joe Mixon exiting the game a couple times with a knee issue, and he finished with six carries for 27 yards, also adding four receptions for 15 yards. The former second-round pick is a talented backup that’s capable of more in extended action, but he has little standalone value with Mixon locked-in as Cincinnati’s workhorse.

Curtis Samuel (medical illness) did not practice today.
The second-year receiver reportedly had a procedure to fix an irregular heartbeat, which is what forced him to miss Week 1. We’ll update you on Samuel’s practice status tomorrow.
