Join now >Andre Roberts does damage as a returner in Week 1 win.
Roberts was the primary punt and kick returner for the Jets, and he broke a few excellent returns, including a 78-yard touchdown return. Roberts also received one carry for two yards on offense. He’s not a fantasy option, but it’s good to see Roberts being such a difference-maker in the return game.

Trenton Cannon gets time in first NFL game.
Cannon received a good amount of work toward the end of the game, carrying six times for 15 rushing yards while adding one reception for six receiving yards. The rookie running back is a distant third in the backfield at the moment, so he’s just a fantasy option in dynasty leagues.

Bilal Powell gets 13 touches in Week 1.
Powell started the game for the Jets, as expected, and he played well against the Lions. Powell had 12 carries for 60 rushing yards and added one reception for five receiving yards in the win. Isaiah Crowell played even better, carrying ten times for 102 yards and two touchdowns, including a 62-yard touchdown run. Expect this backfield split to continue in Week 2 and beyond.

Isaiah Crowell breaks 62-yard touchdown in Jets’ win.
Bilal Powell started the game for the Jets, but Crowell worked in for nearly about an even split and ran the ball well with his opportunities, eclipsing 100 yards and scoring twice versus the Lions. Overall, he had ten carries for 102 yards and two touchdowns in the victory. The long touchdown was on an outside run that Crowell got to the second level and to the sideline, where he was off to the races. Expect a similar backfield split in Week 2 against the Dolphins, as Powell (12 carries for 60 yards) also ran the ball well.

Sam Darnold bounces back from pick-six and shines in pro debut.
On Darnold’s first NFL pass attempt he rolled out to the right on a design play and threw across the field for an easy pick-six by Lions defensive back Quandre Diggs. However, Darnold showed the poise he’s been down for since his time at USC, bouncing back like nothing happened and going 16/20 the rest of the game. Overall, Darnold was 16/21 for 198 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. The first score was on a 41-yard deep ball to Robby Anderson, and the second was to Quincy Enunwa. Darnold and the 1-0 Jets face the Dolphins in Week 2.

Marvin Jones Jr. catches four passes in loss to the Jets.
Jones gained 54 yards on his four receptions, and he nearly had a touchdown on a deep bomb to the end zone where he leaped up and nearly made a spectacular catch. Matthew Stafford threw the ball 46 times in the game, but the Lions did not play well. They’ll all look to turn things around next week against the Niners.
9/10/18 - 10:31 PM ET
Golden Tate scores in Week 1.
Tate was featured on a second-half touchdown drive which ended in a score, and overall he had seven receptions (on a team-high 15 targets) for 79 yards and one touchdown. Tate also had at least one drop in the game on what was a bad night for the Lions as a team. Tate will remain a high-floor option in Week 2 against San Francisco.
