Join now >Chris Carson fumbles in Week 1 loss.
Carson is the starter for Seattle and received ten touches, but the team gave Rashaad Penny more touches (11) in the game. Carson had seven carries for 51 rushing yards, three receptions for 28 receiving yards, and one fumble lost. The second-year back had a highlight-reel play when he hurdled a Broncos defender and kept his feet, and overall he ran the ball much better than Penny (seven carries, eight yards). We’ll see how the workload is split next Monday night against the Bears, but we believe Carson should get most of the carries.

Damien Williams handled one touch in Chiefs debut.
It was a carry for no gain. Williams is an intriguing player to watch in the case of a Kareem Hunt injury, but he’s the clear No. 3 on the depth chart right now and should remain on the waiver wire.

Sammy Watkins has quiet day in Chiefs debut.
Watkins caught three passes for 21 yards in a 38-28 victory over the Chargers. Unfortunately for those who rolled with the former first-round pick in the opener, Tyreek Hill did most of the damage for Kansas City, and defenses continue to allow that to be the case. We think Watkins should put up bigger numbers in a potential shootout next week against the Steelers, but he’s probably better viewed as a high-upside FLEX until we see he and Mahomes connect consistently.

Seahawks, Russell Wilson fall to 0-1 with loss to the Broncos.
It was a turnover-filled game against the Broncos, and Wilson had his share with a couple of interceptions in the three-point loss. Wilson was 19/33 for 298 passing yards, three passing touchdowns, two interceptions, and two carries for five rushing yards in the game. The touchdowns were to Will Dissly, Brandon Marshall, and Tyler Lockett (on a 51-yard bomb). Wilson was sacked six times in the game (three times by Von Miller), losing 56 yards. He’ll have another tough matchup in Week 2 against an athletic Bears defense that includes Khalil Mack.

Anthony Sherman catches 36-yard touchdown in Week 1 win.
Sherman was on the receiving end of a perfectly thrown wheel route by Patrick Mahomes to extend Kansas City’s lead to 31-12. It was his only touch of the game, and he remains off the fantasy radar as the team’s fullback.
9/10/18 - 12:27 PM ET
Chad Williams doesn’t catch a pass in Week 1.
Williams and quarterback Sam Bradford couldn’t connect against the Redskins. The good news is Williams is working as a starting receiver. However, he’s not a recommended fantasy option at the moment.
9/10/18 - 12:25 PM ET
Tyreek Hill explodes in Week 1 victory.
Hill caught seven passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns, also adding a 91-yard punt return touchdown and two carries for four yards. It seems like Hill shouldn’t be able to continue dominating like he has since entering the league in 2016, but defenses have had no answer for him to date, and Andy Reid deserves a lot of credit for coming up with creative ways to get the ball in his hands. “Cheetah” is a high-upside WR1/WR2 in a potential shootout with Pittsburgh next Sunday.
