Wallace was targeted on a couple of deep balls, including one that arguably could have drawn a pass interference call, but he did not catch any passes. He nearly had a big play and potential touchdown on a deep pass late in the game, but Falcons corner Robert Alford made an outstanding play by twisting and deflecting the ball at the last second. Wallace will look to get deep next week against Tampa Bay, but he’s not a recommended option in fantasy lineups.

Zach Ertz leads team in receiving as Eagles defeat the Falcons, 18-12.
Ertz caught five passes for 48 yards, including a couple key first downs. However, he also uncharacteristically dropped two passes, but hopefully it’s just a one-week thing. Whether Nick Foles or Carson Wentz is under center, Ertz should be a no-doubt top-three tight end option in Week 2 against the Buccaneers.

Dallas Goedert catches one pass in first NFL game.
Goedert caught a pass in the flat for four yards, and he was also targeted on a deep ball in the end zone down the right sideline and caught it, but only one foot was inbounds. Goedert was targeted on a deep crossing route where he had the ball in his hands, but it was popped out on a hit and was intercepted by Deion Jones. Goedert faces the Buccaneers in Week 2.

Darren Sproles picks up tough yards in return to the field.
Sproles rushed five times for ten yards and caught four passes for 22 yards, but he consistently moved forward on contact out of pure determination, which was fun to watch. The veteran even drew the start with the first snap of the game, but Jay Ajayi took over the backfield in the second half. Still, Sproles could have PPR value will be his final season. That said, the Eagles might not need to give him many touches next week in Tampa Bay.

Calvin Ridley was held without a catch in his NFL debut.
Ridley was targeted a couple of times by Matt Ryan, including one pass that was nearly intercepted by Rodney McLeod, who was dropping in zone coverage, but the rookie receiver didn’t register any catches. He also was the team’s kick returner, but all the kicks ended in touchbacks. Despite his talent, Ridley does not need to be owned in all fantasy leagues. He should be more involved in the offense next week, though.
9/7/18 - 12:48 AM ET
Corey Clement handles five touches in Week 1 victory.
The second-year back rushed just five times for 26 yards, but he busted a 21-yard run on the Eagles’ game-winning drive to help set up a Jay Ajayi touchdown. Clement’s five carries were just 20% of the team’s running back total (Ajayi led the way with 15 carries), but perhaps the big run will allow him to get more work next week. Right now, he should just be considered a FLEX option in deeper leagues.
9/7/18 - 12:46 AM ET
Mohamed Sanu catches four passes in Falcons’ loss.
Sanu gained 18 yards on his four receptions, as no Falcons receiver outside of Julio Jones able to find much room to operate against the Eagles. Sanu did have a key first-down reception late in the game to give the Falcons four shots to the end zone on the final drive, but they were unable to punch it in. Sanu is not a highly-reccomended FLEX option next week.
