Hooper gained 24 yards on his three receptions against the Eagles, including a long of 15 yards. The third-year tight end appeared to injure his knee in the game, but he seemed to be fine and returned to action. Hooper is in TE2 consideration for Week 2 against the Panthers.

Jay Ajayi scores twice in 18-12 victory over the Falcons.
Ajayi was barely involved in the first half, but he exploded over the final 30 minutes, finishing with 15 carries for 62 yards and two touchdowns. The British-born runner brings violence that the other backfield options in Philly don’t, but fantasy owners probably should get used to the volatility that comes with the committee approach that Doug Pederson favors. Next week, Ajayi should be considered an RB2 option against the Bucs in a game that the Eagles are expected to handle.

Sony Michel (hamstring) remains limited in practice.
Perhaps the rookie running back can notch a full participation tomorrow, but there’s a chance he’s simply ruled out ahead of the weekend if he remains limited. We’ll update you on Michel’s game status tomorrow.

Julio Jones dominates NFL’s opening game, but the Falcons lose to the Eagles.
Jones started the game on-fire as a frequent target of Matt Ryan, along with a carry on an end-around where he threw a nasty stiff-arm to spring himself for a first down. In the game, Jones had ten receptions for 169 receiving yards along with the one carry for 11 rushing yards. He got open all night against the Eagles corners, and no other Falcon had more than 36 yards (rushing or receiving) in the game. Jones also could have had an additional 50-yard reception on a deep ball from Matt Ryan, but it was ruled incomplete despite the review appearing to show him with control in bounds. On the final play, Jones was targeted on a pass to the end zone, which he caught but landed out of bounds with. Jones might be the top wide receiver option in Week 2 against the Panthers.
9/7/18 - 12:41 AM ET
Marlon Mack (hamstring) was officially a limited participant in today’s practice.
This is a step in the right direction as the second-year back tries to play in Week 1, but most expect he’ll be out for the opener. At the very least, this bodes well for Mack’s Week 2 status. We’ll see how he’s listed when game statuses are released tomorrow afternoon.

Nelson Agholor catches team-high eight passes in win over the Falcons.
Agholor is Philadelphia’s clear No. 1 receiver with Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) out, and he was targeted early and often underneath by Nick Foles, which led to eight receptions but just 33 yards. The former first-round pick also completed a 15-yard pass to Foles on a trick play reminiscent of the “Philly Special” and rushed once for 16 yards. Look for Agholor to get more downfield opportunities against the Bucs in Week 2; he should be considered a low-end WR2/FLEX option in all formats.

The Eagles placed Mack Hollins (groin) on injured reserve.
This is a surprise, and it’s a pretty big blow to the Eagles before the start of the regular season. Hollins had been dealing with a groin injury throughout the summer and was already ruled out for tonight’s season opener, but the team went ahead and placed him on injured reserve. There’s a chance Hollins is brought back as one of the team’s designated-to-return players after eight weeks. He’s an excellent contributor on special teams and could chip-in on offense, but he was off the fantasy radar.
