Treggs is dealing with a hamstring injury, so this was expected. He should land on another team when he’s healed from his hamstring issue.

The Raiders are releasing Martavis Bryant.
Bryant has another suspension looming, according to multiple reports, so the Raiders just went ahead and released him. This locks Seth Roberts into the No. 3 receiver role for Oakland. Meanwhile, Bryant is running out of opportunities and might never play another snap in the NFL. The Raiders gave up a third-round pick for Bryant, which was obviously a waste, though hindsight is 20/20 and they decided to take a chance on a very talented player.

The Eagles waived Matt Jones.
Jones again had a fumbling issue throughout the preseason, but he otherwise played pretty well as both a runner and receiver. Jones caught the game-winning touchdown in Philadelphia’s preseason win last Thursday. The 2015 third-round pick should draw interest elsewhere.
9/1/18 - 04:34 PM ET
The Eagles waived Josh Adams.
The undrafted rookie from Notre Dame played well this preseason, but the Eagles have a deep running back group. If he clears waivers, he’s almost certain to land on Philadelphia’s practice squad.
9/1/18 - 04:32 PM ET
The Eagles released Markus Wheaton.
Wheaton playing in Philadelphia’s fourth preseason game probably wasn’t a great sign. The former Steeler and Bear should find another team relatively soon.
9/1/18 - 04:31 PM ET
The Raiders cut quarterback Connor Cook.
Cook didn’t have a great preseason, and Jon Gruden wasn’t happy about it, so the Raiders acquired A.J. McCarron in a trade. The former Michigan State star might end up on Oakland’s practice squad.
9/1/18 - 04:30 PM ET
The Eagles released wide receiver Kamar Aiken.
Some were pushing for Aiken to make the final roster as a sixth receiver. Aiken should draw interest elsewhere.
