According to reporters at the scene, Barkley caught a deep wheel route before coming up limping a bit. He now has his left leg wrapped. This could be something minor, but it’s worth keeping an eye on. More information should become available later today, perhaps immediately after practice.

C.J. Prosise (hip) is day-to-day.
Prosise is dealing with a hip flexor issue which caused him to miss Seattle’s first preseason game last week. The third-year running back has dealt with multiple injuries since entering the league, and he probably needs to get back on the field soon as he battles for a roster spot with the Seahawks.

The Colts signed running back Branden Oliver.
Indianapolis had a roster spot with Deon Cain (knee) being placed on injured reserve. With Marlon Mack (hamstring) week-to-week, Oliver will look to take advantage of some reps and make the final roster for the Colts. Oliver is another removed from his August 2016 Achilles injury, so the former Chargers running back could show enough explosiveness to work his way into the mix. He’s off the fantasy radar at the moment, though.

Jerick McKinnon’s injury is just a muscle strain, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The MRI thankfully gave good news after a week of season-ending injuries to a few players across the NFL. A muscle strain shouldn’t keep McKinnon out long, and his Week 1 status isn’t in any doubt. The Niners have had a few injuries (running back Matt Breida and tight end George Kittle, both with shoulder injuries, are expected to be back in Week 1) that could’ve been more serious than they are in the past week.

Jerick McKinnon is getting an MRI on his right knee.
McKinnon was getting looked at during 49ers practice, but Joe Fann of the team’s official site says he stood back with his teammates so it “didn’t look serious.” However, knee injuries can turn out worse than expected, and the MRI probably isn’t a great sign. Results of McKinnon’s MRI should be known later today or tomorrow, and hopefully we hear good news.

The Eagles are signing quarterback Christian Hackenberg, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Pelissero says this is not a reflection on the health of Carson Wentz or Nick Foles. The 2016 second-round pick of the Jets was with the Raiders briefly this offseason. He could get some extensive action over the final three preseason games, but it’s unlikely he makes the final roster unless Philadelphia makes a trade at some point.

Quan Bray has signed with the Texans.
The former Colts receiver will compete for a reserve role at receiver and a role on special teams. He’s not on the fantasy radar at the moment, but he’ll attempt to work his way into a role on offense.
