Ever since Nagy was hired as Chicago’s head coach, some narrative that Howard was going to be traded or have his role on offense significantly scaled back was started. Nagy basically put that to bed today when he said, “There’s this notion that he is just a first- and second-down back, and I don’t believe that. Jordan can play all three downs. We’re going to do that. We’re going to use him and we’re going to use other guys on first and second down when we need to. It’s important for Jordan to know and for everybody on our offense to know that he’s a big part of this. This kid’s had a very successful career so far. We’re crazy as coaches if we don’t understand it and if we don’t use that to our advantage.” Of course the explosive second-year “Human Joystick” Tarik Cohen and others are going to mix in, but Howard should remain a huge part of the Bears offense after he was among the league’s most productive runners his first two NFL seasons. Howard is an absolute steal in the fourth round of fantasy drafts, which is where he’s going in some cases.

Andrew Luck (shoulder) is “good to go” for training camp, Colts GM Chris Ballard says.
This is really great to hear, as one of the league’s best players appears to be healthy and fully ready to go for 2018 after missing all of last season with his shoulder issue. Perhaps the team will take it easy to start training camp, but Luck is not starting camp on the PUP, which indicates he’s basically 100%. Luck now gets a full preseason to get acclimated to playing football again, which is a major positive for both his real-life outlook and his fantasy outlook. There are still concerns with a subpar roster and the time off potentially leading to rust, but Luck certainly has solid QB1 potential this season.

ArDarius Stewart is facing two-game suspension, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport says Stewart violated the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs after testing positive for a diuretic. The suspension is not official, probably because the appeals process has not yet concluded. If Stewart is indeed suspended two games, it comes at a bad time as he looked to carve out a role in the Jets receiver group in his second NFL season.

Deshaun Watson says he’s going to be “full-go” for training camp.
Watson is at tonight’s American Flag Football League championship game and golf NFL Network’s Kay Adams that he’ll be full-go for the start of camp next week. There are no concerns about the second-year quarterback’s health heading into the season, and we should see him in preseason action with his teammates. Locked in as the Texan’s clear starting quarterback as opposed to last year when he was the backup to Tom Savage at the start of the season, Watson has the upside to be the top fantasy scorer in 2018.

David Helman of DallasCowboys.com sees Ezekiel Elliott’s floor at 2,000 total yards.
The staff of the team’s official site gave their thoughts on how Elliott would respond after he had a challenging season in 2017 in which the four-game suspension he eventually had to serve hung over his head. All of the staff agrees that Elliott will be extremely motivated and will be better because of his 2017 situation. Helman says it might sound crazy but he’s “looking at 2,000 all-purpose yards as the floor.” That would be 200 standard fantasy points right off the bat, which would easily have Elliott as a top-ten option at RB. While calling 2,000 total yards the floor might be a stretch, there’s no doubt Elliott offers a very high floor along with a ton of upside in fantasy drafts this summer.

Allen Robinson (knee) is ready to go at the start of Bears training camp.
Bears head coach Matt Nagy says no Bears will start camp on the PUP list while adding that Robinson will be full go. After Robinson was able to participate at the end of offseason training, this was expected, but it’s still a great sign and great to hear. Despite getting acclimated with a new team, new quarterback, and new offense while coming off a torn ACL, Robinson has clear WR1 upside in 2018.

David Njoku has improved as a route runner.
Browns tight ends coach Greg Seamon says Njoku “is a much more refined route runner than he was,” and added that “he should be a dominant receiver in the red zone.” Andrew Gribble of ClevelandBrowns.com says Njoku and Seth DeValve, who the team also likes, could again have around the same statistical output this season as they both get playing time, but there’s no question the first-round pick Njoku has a lot of upside. If Njoku emerges as the clear top tight end for Cleveland, he’ll have TE1 upside in 2018.
