Join now >Kyle Rudolph (foot) has passed his physical.
Rudolph underwent offseason foot surgery for an injury that was detected following an agreement with the Giants, but he’s made good progress and should be able to round back into form ahead of Week 1. Evan Engram will still be the clear tight end to own, though New York is hoping newcomers in Rudolph and Kenny Golladay are able to boost the team’s outlook in the red zone.

The Rams are acquiring Sony Michel.
With Darrell Henderson Jr. banged up for the Rams and the Patriots having such a deep running back room, this trade makes a ton of sense. New England is receiving a fifth-round pick and a conditional sixth-round pick that can become a fourth in exchange for their former first-round running back. Michel averaged 5.7 yards per carry on 79 attempts last season, and he’s again looked very good this preseason; he’ll now join Sean McVay’s offense with a chance to make a big impact this year. While injuries limited Michel throughout his time with the Patriots, he should be remembered fondly for playing well while he was on the field, including the tremendous stretch he had during the team’s Super Bowl run while he was a rookie in the 2018 season: 71 carries for 336 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns in three games. Michel’s regular season tenure with the Pats ends with 535 carries for 2,292 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns along with 26 receptions for 258 receiving yards and one receiving touchdowns in three seasons.

The Patriots claimed Kahale Warring.
The 2019 third-round pick was just waived by the Texans, and he lands with a Patriots squad that’s added a bunch to the tight end position this offseason. As a former Day 2 pick, Warring is someone to keep an eye on in deep dynasty leagues.

Davion Davis has been suspended two games for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
Davis is hoping to earn a roster spot in Cleveland, but this obviously won’t help his chances. Teams will get a final look at players this week/weekend before final cuts next Tuesday.

Robert Foster has been waived/injured.
Foster will go through waivers, but could eventually return to the Dolphins. Since breaking out with Josh Allen at the end of his rookie season, Foster has caught just five passes across the past two years.

The Dolphins have released Isaiah Ford.
Ford has been on and off the Miami roster for the past year, but this move could end his time there considering how many options the team now has at wide receiver. The 25-year-old will hope to get a shot elsewhere, though there seems to be a surplus around the NFL in terms of quality wideouts.

Lynn Bowden Jr. has been placed on injured reserve.
The season is now over for Bowden, who was fighting to earn one of the final wide receiver spots in a very crowded room for Miami. A third-round pick of the Raiders just last year, Bowden could face longer odds at cracking the Dolphins’ 53-man roster next summer, but his versatility will be something teams always covet. Bowden will turn 24 in October.
