Join now >The Raiders are expected to make a “strong push” for Doug Martin in free agency.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Raiders head coach Jon Gruden had a face-to-face meeting with Martin and “came away impressed with him as a person.” Gruden has paid attention to the game as much as anyone while he was working Monday Night Football for ESPN, and he probably paid attention to the Bucs and Raiders (and Redskins when his brother Jay was hired) more than any other teams, so he probably knows a lot about the success Martin has had in his two 1,400-yard season with Tampa Bay—and he probably wonders why Martin hasn’t been a Pro Bowl-caliber running back every year. If Marshawn Lynch isn’t going to work out with the new coaching staff, Martin could be the guy in Oakland’s backfield.

Dede Westbrook catches one pass in Divisional Round win.
Westbrook’s lone reception was for eight yards, and it was for a key first down late in the game as the Jaguars were trying to take more time off the clock. The rookie receiver will now get to play in the AFC Championship in his first NFL season as the Jaguars take on the Patriots next Sunday.

Rishard Matthews gets eight targets in playoff loss.
Matthews couldn’t get much going against New England in the Divisional Round, catching three passes for 27 yards. Matthews is entering the final year of his contract with the Titans next season at a reasonable salary, but Corey Davis might emerge as the clear top guy in the receiving group.

Sam Bradford is expected to sign with the Cardinals, according to Adam Schefter.
With Kirk Cousins appearing set to sign with Minnesota, the Cardinals are making a move to get the former Vikings starter. Health has really been the only concern with the former number one overall pick, and when fully healthy he’s arguably the best quarterback option available ahead of Cousins. Bradford’s pinpoint accuracy to all areas of the field is great news for the Cardinals and skill position players Larry Fitzgerald and David Johnson, who are both probably stoked with the addition. Now, the focus will have to be on building a strong offensive line to keep Bradford upright to avoid injury and allow him to use his elite accuracy to get the ball to his playmakers. Considering the defensive-minded head coach in Steve Wilks, it’s not surprising that Arizona has decided to target a traditional quarterback that avoids turnovers better than most quarterbacks in the NFL. The signing cannot become official until tomorrow at 4:00 PM ET, but expect Bradford to officially sign with Arizona shortly after the new league year begins.

The Panthers are acquiring Torrey Smith from the Eagles, according to Adam Schefter.
Philadelphia is getting cornerback Daryl Worley in exchange for Smith, and the trade won’t become official until the start of the new league year on Wednesday. For Carolina, Smith gives them a veteran receiver that can stretch the field, and he should be good in both the receivers room and on the field. And for the Eagles, this gives them some cap relief and opens the door for second-year receiver Mack Hollins to grab a starting spot behind Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor. This should also mean Agholor is a clear top-two wide receiver for the Eagles, and he could be used to stretch the field more than he was in 2017.

Tony Bohanon scores in playoff win.
It was a 14-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter on his only touch of the game. After a 45-42 victory against Pittsburgh, the Jaguars will look to upset the Patriots next Sunday and advance to Super Bowl LII.

Chris Hogan scores in playoff win over Tennessee.
It was a four-yard reception in the second quarter, which turned out to be his only catch of the game. Hogan should be more involved next week in the AFC Championship Game, especially if Pittsburgh ends up being the opponent with a win over Jacksonville on Sunday. Hogan missed the regular season matchup with the Steelers this season, but he torched them in last year’s AFC Championship with 180 yards and two touchdowns.
