Derrick Henry | Ravens RB

Derrick Henry is the Titans’ clear starting running back after DeMarco Murray’s release.

The Titans announced they are going to release the veteran Murray, which means Henry is set to become the clear leader in the team’s backfield. Just last week, the Titans talked up Henry’s ability as a receiver out of the backfield, and right now, it looks like Henry could have a huge role on all three downs as both a runner and a pass-catcher—though we’ll see who is added in free agency or the draft. Entering his third season, the former Heisman Trophy winner at Alabama will have elite upside and should be a first- or second-round selection in all fantasy leagues this summer.

Trey Burton | Free Agent TE

Trey Burton doesn’t catch a pass in the Divisional Round.

Burton didn’t catch a pass, but he did a nice job run blocking including on one play in particular in the first half that sprung Jay Ajayi for a nice gain. The versatile tight end will play in his first NFC Championship next weekend.

James O'Shaughnessy | Free Agent TE

James O’Shaughnessy catches one pass in win over the Steelers.

It went for 19 yards. He will take the 45-42 playoff victory on his 26th birthday. The Jags play the Patriots next Sunday for the conference championship.

1/14/18 - 04:55 PM ET

Leonard Fournette | Free Agent RB

Leonard Fournette scores three times in playoff win over the Steelers.

Fournette left the game in the first half with a lower-leg injury, but returned to start the second half. He finished with 25 carries for 109 yards and the touchdowns, also adding two receptions for 10 yards. In two games at Heinz Field this season, the rookie had a season many rushing touchdowns as Le’Veon Bell (five). He will be the focal point in the AFC Championship against the Patriots, but they probably won’t allow him to beat them.

1/14/18 - 04:38 PM ET

Brandin Cooks | Saints WR

Brandin Cooks contained in playoff win.

Cooks caught three passes for 32 yards in the 35-14 victory. The speedster got a couple deep shots, but he and Tom Brady couldn’t connect on either of them. Cooks will look to have a bigger game next Sunday against the Steelers or Jaguars in the AFC Championship. Jacksonville would prove the tougher challenge on the perimeter.

1/13/18 - 11:57 PM ET

Brent Celek | Retired TE

Brent Celek catches one pass in playoff win over Atlanta.

The veteran tight end gained six yards on his lone reception, and he’ll now be back in the NFC Championship next week against either New Orleans or Minnesota.

1/13/18 - 08:22 PM ET

Demaryius Thomas | Retired WR

The Broncos have picked up Demaryius Thomas’ $4-million option, according to James Palmer.

This means Thomas will definitely be back in Denver next season, and it also triggers another year of the contract for the 2019 season. The move is notable after Case Keenum reportedly agreed to a two-year deal with the Broncos this morning, as DT will have a new quarterback throwing him passes in this fall. Demaryius is a prime bounce-back candidate with Keenum under center, but the offensive line still needs to be fixed in Denver for the offense to have more success than they did a season ago.
