Join now >Anthony Miller was carted off the field.
Miller suffered an apparent shoulder injury, which he’s unfortunately been dealing with all throughout his young career. The recent acquisition from the Texans is looking to win a big role on offense this summer, but it looks like he might miss time with this issue. Hopefully Miller is feeling better and can return to the field soon.

Kene Nwangwu (knee) is out for the rest of today’s preseason game.
It’s unclear when Nwangwu was injured, but hopefully he’s being held out as just a precaution during the preseason. The fourth-round rookie running back, who has impressed during training camp, did not receive a touch on offense today.

Multiple reports: Dak Prescott is progressing well from his shoulder injury.
ESPN’s Todd Archer says Prescott had an MRI today (it was said to originally be for Monday), and “it showed what the team expected.” It’s great to hear that Prescott is making progress from this somewhat mysterious shoulder issue that has kept him out of practice. HBO’s Hard Knocks gave an inside look at the situation, and doesn’t seem to be a major issue. Dak is looking to get ready for Week 1, but the hope is that he’ll be able to appear in the preseason.

Colby Parkinson (foot) does not need surgery.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero says it’s better news than last year and that Parkinson will not need surgery. Pelissero adds that Parkinson “could be back in weeks, not months”, which is good to hear. The second-year tight end can still begin the year on the waiver wire in redraft leagues.

The NFL has suspended Derrius Guice for six games.
Guice was released by Washington in August of 2020 following domestic violence charges, which were dropped this past June. Of course, the NFL decides punishments based on their own findings, and Guice is still getting a six-game suspension. Clarity on the situation could lead to a team taking a flier on the former LSU standout, but it’s also possible he never gets another shot.

Colby Parkinson re-injured his foot.
Head coach Pete Carroll says that the second-year tight end will be out a while, which is unfortunate after it was said he’d have a definite role this season. Foot injuries can be very tricky, but hopefully Parkinson can get to 100%. Seattle is still in good shape at the position with Gerald Everett and Will Dissly.

Mike Boone (quad) is expected to miss four-to-six weeks, according to Mike Klis.
This is considered pretty good news for Boone, who still might have an outside shot to be ready for Week 1. The Broncos have one of the deepest backfields in the league with Melvin Gordon, Javonte Williams, and Boone.
