Matthews was targeted just twice against the Chiefs, gaining 15 yards on his lone reception. The Chiefs have a couple of good outside corners in Marcus Peters and Darrelle Revis, and it could be another difficult matchup next week against the Patriots in the Divisional Round. If he faces the Steelers, Matthews had five receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown in their early November matchup and would be a better fantasy playoff option than if he were to face New England.

Brandon Coleman caught four passes for 44 yards in Sunday’s playoff win.
Coleman also fumbled again after some ball-security issues showed up in December, but New Orleans recovered it. The big-bodied wideout will look to make some plays next week against the Vikings with Michael Thomas and the running backs set to receive plenty of attention.

Kareem Hunt scores in shocking playoff loss.
Hunt rushed 11 times for 42 yards and a touchdown, also adding three receptions for five yards. The league’s leading rusher probably didn’t get the touches he should have with the Chiefs up 21-3 at the half, and Tennessee was able to chip away with three touchdowns to win 22-21 and end Kansas City’s season. Hunt impressive rookie campaign ends in disappointing fashion, but his future is bright, and he should be considered a great RB1 in fantasy drafts next summer.

Kaelin Clay catches three passes in Carolina’s playoff loss.
Clay gained 32 yards on his three receptions, but he unfortunately dropped a would-be touchdown on a perfect throw from Cam Newton to the end zone in the first quarter. He did respond well, though, including drawing a pass interference on a deep ball to set up the Panthers at about the ten-yard line. Clay is likely to have a role with the Panthers in 2018, but he’s not a fantasy option as of now.

Eric Decker catches game-winner in Wild Card victory for the Titans.
The veteran receiver had a rough start earlier in the game, dropping a perfect strike from Marcus Mariota on a would-be first down. But Decker more than made up for it late in the game, catching a 22-yard touchdown on a post route late in the fourth quarter, giving the Titans the lead for good over the Chiefs to advance to the Divisional Round. Overall, Decker had two receptions for 21 yards and the touchdown, and he’ll look to make big plays next week as the Titans attempt to advance to the AFC Championship.

Josh Hill scores in Wild Card Weekend win.
It was a nine-yard reception in the second quarter, and Hill finished with three receptions for 49 yards and the score. The performance was probably Hill’s best of the season, and he will look to keep it up next Sunday in Minnesota with an NFC Championship berth on the line.

Alex Smith, Chiefs upset at home by Tennessee in Wild Card Round.
Smith was 24/33 for 264 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. He also rushed four times for 13 yards. In perhaps his final game with the Chiefs, Smith played about as well as he could have, but the Titans stiffed up defensively in the second half when Travis Kelce was out of the game with a concussion, outscoring Kansas City 19-0. The veteran passer didn’t get much help from his receivers in terms of catching the ball or getting open, but that might not matter this offseason when the Chiefs make a decision at the quarterback position. If Smith is available via trade, other teams will likely jump at the opportunity to acquire him. Should he remain in Kansas City, Smith will be a QB1 option in 2018.
