Dez Bryant | Free Agent WR

Dez Bryant gets eight targets against the Eagles.

Bryant again couldn’t get much going to end the regular season, catching three passes for 24 yards in the win. It’s possible this was the last game for Bryant in Dallas, but we’ll see what happens in the offseason. Dez ended his season with 69 receptions for 838 yards and six touchdowns, and most don’t consider him to be the elite number one receiver he’s getting paid as anymore.

Josh Doctson | Free Agent WR

Josh Doctson has quiet finish to inconsistent season.

Doctson caught four passes for 37 yards against the Giants in a 18-10 defeat. The 2016 first-round pick appeared in every game this season, but he caught just 35 passes for 502 yards and six touchdowns, as he left too many plays on the field. Doctson has talent, but he will already turn 26 next December. Perhaps a full and healthy offseason will unlock his potential, but it would probably be a little disappointing if he entered 2018 as the team’s #1 receiver. Right now, he’s an upside pick in the back half of fantasy drafts.

12/31/17 - 08:54 PM ET

Ryan Switzer | Retired WR

Ryan Switzer catches four passes in Week 17.

With Cole Beasley out, the rookie received a good amount of playing time in the regular season finale. Switzer gained 32 yards on his four receptions, and he could be inserted into the slot role for next season. He’ll be someone to watch for 2018, but we don’t consider him a fantasy option at the moment.

12/31/17 - 08:53 PM ET

Brice Butler | Free Agent WR

Brice Butler scores in Cowboys’ win.

Butler was the most productive receiver for the Cowboys against the Eagles, scoring the only touchdown in their 6-0 win. He was targeted twice, catching both targets for 50 yards and a touchdown. The big receiver seemingly made plays whenever given opportunities this season, and it’s possible the Cowboys give him a role increase next season if they part ways with Dez Bryant. As of now, Butler isn’t a fantasy option for 2018, though.

12/31/17 - 08:52 PM ET

Alfred Morris | Free Agent RB

Alfred Morris gets two carries in Week 17.

Morris gained one yard on his two attempts. This season, Morris filled in admirably during Ezekiel Elliott’s six-game suspension, and he ended up with 115 carries for 547 yards and one touchdown, along with seven receptions for 45 yards, on the season. We’d think Dallas would like to bring him back next season, but this is Elliott’s backfield.

12/31/17 - 08:51 PM ET

Vernon Davis | Retired TE

Vernon Davis caught two passes for 20 yards in Sunday’s 18-10 loss to the Giants.

Davis was held without a reception in the first meeting against New York, and things didn’t go much better in the season finale. The 33-year-old tailed off over the second half of the season, but his 43/648/3 line is his best since 2013 with San Francisco, and he could still be a contributor in 2018. That said, he won’t be worth considering in fantasy drafts next summer.

12/31/17 - 08:49 PM ET

Terrance Williams | Cowboys WR

Terrance Williams gets three touches in Week 17.

Williams had two receptions for five yards and one carry for nine yards. This season, Williams had 53 receptions for 568 yards and no touchdowns. As of now, he’s not looking like an option in 2018 fantasy drafts, despite his real-life contributions to his team.
