It would be a major surprise if Lee played this week against the Titans, but we’ll update you if he works his way up to a limited practice.

Allen Hurns (ankle) remains limited in practice.
Hurns is still not at 100%, but he’s trying to get back out there. With Jacksonville locked into three seed in the AFC, Hurns might not make his return until the playoffs.

Evan Engram (ribs) did not practice today.
The rookie tight end is not expected to play in Week 17 against the Redskins, but maybe he’ll tough it out and play in the season finale. We’ll update you with Engram’s practice status throughout the week.

Alex Smith is not starting in Week 17.
With the Chiefs already the AFC West champs and locked into the four seed in the conference, Smith is getting a rest to end the regular season. Patrick Mahomes II will start for Kansas City, but there’s obviously no danger of Smith not starting in the playoffs for his team. This was a career regular season for Smith, who threw for 4,042 yards with 26 passing touchdowns and five interceptions with a 67.% completion percentage in 15 games. On the ground, Smith had 355 yards and one touchdown on 60 rushing attempts, and he is currently the number two fantasy quarterback. There’s no reason to think Smith won’t play well in the postseason as he attempts to take his team to a Super Bowl for the first time.

Patrick Mahomes will start for the Chiefs in Week 17.
With Kansas City locked into the four seed in the AFC, Reid is resting his starter Alex Smith and giving the rookie his first-career start in the NFL. Mahomes is an ultra-talented player from Texas Tech, and he’ll face the Broncos as the Chiefs get a look at their future franchise quarterback. Especially for those with Smith as their fantasy quarterback, Mahomes is worth a look as a high-upside play in the final week of the regular season. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Andy Reid allow the young kid to chuck the ball around the field all game.

Davante Adams is still in concussion protocol.
Adams suffered his concussion two Sundays ago, so this isn’t a good sign. Hopefully he’s feeling OK, which is the most important thing right now. Adams still has time to get cleared ahead of this weekend’s game against Detroit, but it wouldn’t be surprising if the Packers went ahead and placed him on IR.

Aaron Jones (knee) did not practice today.
Packers head coach Mike McCarthy doesn’t anticipate the rookie playing in the season finale, so he’ll probably be ruled out in the coming days. Jamaal Williams should again get a nice workload to end the season against Detroit.
