DeMarco Murray (knee) is day-to-day.

This is great to hear, as it looked like the veteran running back might have suffered a serious injury in Sunday’s loss to the Rams. Titans head coach Mike Mularkey didn’t rule him out yet for Week 17 against the Jaguars, so hopefully he’s able to get out there. From a strictly fantasy perspective, the most value out of Tennessee’s backfield would come with Murray out and Derrick Henry getting a heavy workload. Henry will be a solid option if Murray sits, and they’ll both be risky FLEX options if Murray plays.

Paxton Lynch is starting for the Broncos this week.

Now fully healthy, it’s not a surprise Denver is getting a look at their second-year quarterback before the regular season is over. Lynch isn’t a recommended fantasy option for Week 17 against the Chiefs, but it’ll be interesting to watch how he performs ahead of the offseason.

Brent Celek catches one pass in Week 16 win.

It went for 12 yards. Celek isn’t a fantasy option in Week 17 whether or not Zach Ertz plays with the top seed in the NFC locked up for Philadelphia, but Trey Burton would be a TE1.

Michael Crabtree doesn’t catch a pass in Raiders’ loss.

Crabtree just couldn’t get anything going on Christmas Night against the Eagles, though he wasn’t alone as no Oakland receiver aside from Amari Cooper had over 25 yards receiving. Crabtree did have what might’ve been a drop on a mini comeback type of route near the end zone, but perhaps the pass was tipped before it got to his hands. The veteran receiver carries some risk in Week 17 fantasy lineups.

Trey Burton held without a catch in Christmas Night win.

Burton didn’t see the field much with Zach Ertz hogging targets for Philadelphia. He could have an extended role in Week 17 against the Cowboys with Ertz potentially resting, which would make Burton a solid TE1 option.

Cordarrelle Patterson catches one pass in Week 16.

Patterson gained seven yards on his lone reception, and it appeared the Eagles tried to kick away from him in the kicking game so he couldn’t get his hands on it there. The dynamic gamebreaker isn’t a fantasy option at the moment.

Torrey Smith catches five-yard pass in win over the Raiders.

It was his only reception of the game. This was a spot for Smith to have a nice performance against Oakland’s slow corners, but he’s just not a very good player anymore. Even if he’s active in Week 17 with nothing to play for, Smith should stay out of fantasy lineups.
