He also lined up in the wildcat again in a short-yardage situation, but he simply handed it off to Devonta Freeman for the conversion. Sanu won’t be much more than a decent FLEX option in Week 17 against the Panthers.

Julio Jones gets the better of Marcus Lattimore, but Falcons fall to Saints.
Jones caught seven passes for 149 yards, as he battled the rookie corner for most of the afternoon. Unfortunately, the referees blatantly missed some PI calls that could have changed the game, and even worse was a clear touchdown for Julio that wasn’t overturned and led to zero points for Atlanta. In the playoffs with a win next Sunday, the Falcons need to feature Julio everywhere against the Panthers. He’s the top option at the position.

Bryce Petty struggles against the Chargers.
Los Angeles has a very strong defense, and they did a nice job against the Jets all day. Petty was 15/28 for 119 yards and one interception in the Week 16 loss, and he also added three carries for 33 yards. Next week could be the last start Petty makes for the Jets if they decide to revamp the quarterback group next season.

Tyrell Williams plays well in Chargers’ win.
Williams caught five of six targets for 50 yards against the Jets. He’s a key target for Philip Rivers, but it’s difficult to trust in fantasy lineups.

Keenan Allen gets ten targets against the Jets.
Allen didn’t show any limitations from his back injury, catching five passes for 63 yards in the Christmas Eve win. Allen even picked off a pass, as he lined up in the end zone for a Hail Mary attempt and intercepted it, taking it about 40 yards before being brought down. Allen is a great option for Week 17 against Oakland.

Tevin Coleman scores in loss to the Saints.
Coleman rushed six times for 12 yards, adding four receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown. The third-year back shows impressive burst every time he gets the ball, but Devonta Freeman—who lost a fumble at the goal line— continues to operate as the clear lead back in Atlanta. Perhaps Coleman will get some more touches in the regular-season finale with the Falcons looking to earn a playoff spot. Consider him a high-upside RB2.

Antonio Gates plays great in Chargers’ win.
With Hunter Henry (kidney) done for the season, Gates pretty much had a full-time role in the win against the Jets. The future Hall of Fame tight end caught six passes for 81 yards and a touchdown (all team highs), with the score coming on a crossing route in the end zone. Gates will be a TE1 option against the Raiders in Week 17.
