Akeem Hunt leaves game with a shoulder injury.

Hunt did not return after injuring his shoulder, and he didn’t have any offensive touches before leaving. Hopefully the shoulder issue isn’t too bad as Hunt can get back out there soon.

Greg Olsen caught three passes for 27 yards in Sunday’s win over the Bucs.

Olsen and the rest of the offense was mostly contained in the playoff-clinching victory, but a win is a win, and the Panthers will now be playing games that matter in January. First, they will look to potentially win the NFC South in Week 17 against the Falcons. Consider Olsen a solid TE1 option against them.

Charcandrick West catches three passes in Week 16.

West gained 28 yards on his three receptions (four targets, including a long reception of 25 yards. If Kareem Hunt sits next week, West would instantly become a solid option in fantasy lineups—assuaging he plays.

Damiere Byrd houses 103-yard kickoff return in win over the Bucs.

Byrd was able to break a 6-6 tie in the second quarter to help the Panthers eventually clinch a playoff spot with a 22-19 victory. The second-year receiver also caught one pass for 31 yards. He’s become an important player for Carolina this month, but Byrd probably isn’t worth considering outside of deeper leagues for the conclusion of the fantasy season next week.

Demetrius Harris gets seven targets in Chiefs’ win.

The big tight end caught four passes for 34 yards in the Week 16 victory over the Dolphins. He’s a very good backup to Travis Kelce, but Harris’ role isn’t big enough to be a fantasy option.

Orson Charles catches long pass in Week 16.

Charles had a 35-yard reception on his only target against the Dolphins. He’s not on the fantasy radar at the moment.

Brenton Bersin leads Panthers in receiving on Sunday.

Bersin caught three passes for 45 yards, as Cam Newton threw for just 160 yards in the win to clinch a playoff berth. Fantasy owners shouldn’t consider playing Bersin in their quest to claim a title in Week 17.
