Shane Vereen | Retired RB

Shane Vereen gets nine touches against the Cowboys.

Vereen had 23 rushing yards on six attempts and 24 receiving yards on three receptions. It looks like rookie Wayne Gallman could take over as an all-puporse guy over the final three games of the season, but Vereen wasn’t a fantasy option right now anyway.

Josh Gordon | Free Agent WR

Josh Gordon scores for the first time since 2013.

In his second game since 2014, Gordon got off to a hot start, catching two passes for 56 yards and a touchdown on Cleveland’s first drive of the game. The score was on an 18-yarder to the post from the slot, and it was Gordon’s first since his All-Pro 2013 season. After the opening drive, the Packers—cornerback Damarious Randall, in particular—did an excellent job of shutting Gordon down, though. Overall, he had three receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown in the loss. The freak receiver will be a very good option in fantasy lineups next week, even in a tough matchup with Baltimore.

12/11/17 - 12:09 PM ET

Orleans Darkwa | Free Agent RB

Orleans Darkwa gets 12 touches in Week 14.

Darkwa had ten carries for 29 yards and two receptions for 15 yards against the Cowboys. He was dealing with an illness entering the game, but rookie Wayne Gallman received more touches and out-performed him. It’s possible interim head coach Steve Spagnuolo thinks Gallman is a better back and should get more time, so Darkwa is a very risky FLEX option for Week 15.

Brenton Bersin | Panthers WR

Brenton Bersin catches 17-yard pass in win over the Vikings.

It was his only reception of the game, but it was a big one that he somehow held onto after being flipped on his head/neck. Bersin isn’t a fantasy option on a low-volume passing attack.

12/11/17 - 12:08 PM ET

Matthew Stafford | Rams QB

Matthew Stafford, Lions hold off the Bucs to improve to 7-6.

Playing with an injured hand, Stafford was 36/44 for 381 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Detroit was able to get a 21-7 lead after three quarters, but Tampa Bay climbed back with 14-straight points before Stafford led the Lions to a game-wining field goal by Matt Prater. The Bears come to town on Saturday night as Detroit tries to keep pace in the NFC wild-card race, and Stafford should be a low-end QB1 option for that matchup.

12/11/17 - 01:13 PM ET

Greg Olsen | Retired TE

Greg Olsen held without a reception in Week 14 win.

Olsen left the game briefly after re-aggrevating or feeling the affects of his foot injury, but he returned. The veteran tight end is difficult to trust down the stretch, and fantasy owners should probably look elsewhere in Week 15.

12/11/17 - 12:06 PM ET

Wayne Gallman | Free Agent RB

Wayne Gallman gets 19 touches against the Cowboys.

Though Orleans Darkwa was dealing with an illness, Gallman received more work than him—maybe because interim head coach Steve Spagnuolo believes the rookie is a good back that should get more work. Gallman had 12 carries for 59 yards and seven receptions (on nine targets) for 40 yards in the loss. We think Gallman clearly has the capability to be a number one running back in the NFL, so we’ll see if the Giants end up giving him more and more work down the stretch here. There’s some risk placing him i fantasy lineups next week against the Eagles, though.
