Blue is in concussion protocol and will need to get cleared if he’s going to backup Lamar Miller this weekend. Hopefully he’s feeling OK soon.

Kelvin Benjamin (knee) is officially active for Week 14.
He practiced fully during the week, so this was fully expected. The big receiver does have some upside against a subpar Colts secondary, but starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor is out with a knee injury. Rookie Nathan Peterman might look Benjamin’s way a lot if he’s comfortable throwing to him, so there’s some upside for the first week of the fantasy playoffs.

Sterling Shepard (hamstring) did not practice today.
It’s only Wednesday, so there’s no need to be too alarmed regarding Shepard’s Week 14 status yet. But even with Eli Manning back in the lineup, Shepard would just be a FLEX option versus the Cowboys.
12/6/17 - 07:11 PM ET
Ameer Abdullah is inactive for the Lions.
This is Abdullah’s second consecutive missed game, and it sounds like it might be a healthy scratch for the former second-round pick. He was limited in practice all week with a neck injury, though, so it’s possible he could be dealing with that still. Tion Green, who was impressive last week when given an opportunity, is now in FLEX consideration versus Tampa Bay. Green is our 30th-ranked running back for Week 14.

Braxton Miller (concussion) did not practice today.
It’s only Wednesday, so this isn’t a surprise. Hopefully the second-year receiver is able to get cleared soon, and hopefully he’s feeling alright after suffering the concussion on Sunday.
12/6/17 - 10:38 PM ET
Matthew Stafford (hand) is active for the Lions.
Though head coach Jim Caldwell was coy about Stafford’s status throughout the week, there wasn’t much doubt the gunslinger would be out there versus Tampa Bay. Even at less than 100%, Stafford is in QB1 consideration for this week against a Bucs team that struggles against the pass—though there might be safer options in lineups.
12/10/17 - 12:35 PM ET
Wayne Gallman (hip) was limited in practice.
Gallman injured his hip in Sunday’s loss to the Raiders, but a limited Wednesday practice indicates the injury isn’t too bad. Hopefully the rookie will be able to get in a full participation tomorrow or Friday.
