Join now >Allen Hurns (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 14.
Hurns didn’t practice all week, and this’ll be his fourth-straight missed game. Consider Hurns less than 50/50 to return in Week 15, as high-ankle sprains are very difficult to overcome. It sounds like the end of the regular season would be best-case scenario for a healthy Hurns.

John Brown (toe) remains out of practice.
Brown has missed two-straight games, and it appears he’s likely to miss a third in a row. Hopefully Smokey is able to get out there for practice over the next couple of days.

Greg Olsen (foot) was a full participant in today’s practice.
Olsen didn’t practice all week last week before missing Sunday’s game against the Saints; but it’s looking like it was just a one-week thing for Olsen, who has no structural damage to his foot and should be out there this week versus Minnesota. The Vikings have a very tough defense, and Olsen does have some risk if he starts feeling more discomfort in the foot, but he’s at least a backend TE1 option for Week 14, assuming he plays. Though Panthers head coach Ron Rivera did so Olsen won’t be limited in the game, so it sounds like he might be close to the Greg Olsen we’re used to seeing.

Matt Forte (knee) is officially questionable for Sunday.
Forte didn’t practice today, so a limited Thursday participation was his only practice time of the week. It’ll come down to how the veteran running back’s knee is on Sunday, as he’s shown he doesn’t need a lot of practice time during the week to suit up on game day. The Jets don’t play until 4:05 PM ET in Denver on Sunday, complicating things a bit for fantasy owners.

John Ross is getting shoulder surgery, according to Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport says it’s surgery to his left shoulder for what’s “believed to be a labrum issue.” Ross has shoulder surgery on his right shoulder after his final season at the University of Washington last year, so it’s not a particularly good sign, as surgeries like this could add up. The good news is Ross should be ready to go for OTAs and have a full offseason, as he had to work his way into things during the preseason this year. Ross should offer some upside at the end of fantasy drafts next year.

Chris Hogan (shoulder) remains limited in practice.
Hogan’s been limited all week and should have a good chance to play on Monday night, but it’d be ideal to see him get in a full practice tomorrow. Either way, we’ll see how he’s listed when the official injury report for the game is released sometime tomorrow.

The Giants have officially named Eli Manning as the starting quarterback again.
Reports emerged that Manning was going to start this Sunday against the Cowboys, and interim head coach Steve Spagnuolo just said that he will indeed be their quarterback. The cheers Manning will get from the home crowd in East Rutherford on Sunday might be the loudest ever in that stadium. He’s not a recommended fantasy option, but it’ll be nice to see him back on the field for his long-time team this weekend.
