Paul Richardson | Free Agent WR

Paul Richardson leads Seahawks in Week 12 receiving.

Given another week to get over his groin issue, Richardson appeared healthier against the 49ers, catching four of seven targets for 70 yards in the victory. Richardson was the most reliable guy for Russell Wilson throughout the game, and he continues to be a key contributor on the outside for Seattle. Next week against the Eagles is a pretty good matchup for Richardson, and he’ll be in the FLEX conversation.

Michael Crabtree | Free Agent WR

Michael Crabtree’s suspension has been reduced to one game, according to Adam Schefter.

Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib also had his suspension reduced to one game. This is probably fair. As bad as the scrap looked for the NFL’s image, they were both ejected very early in the game on Sunday and basically already missed one game for their teams. A two-game suspension would’ve almost been 25% of the entire season missed for the two of them. Crabtree is now set to miss this Sunday against the Giants, but he’ll be back for the fantasy playoffs (for most leagues) in Week 14 against the Chiefs.

Danny Woodhead | Retired RB

Danny Woodhead gets eight touches in Week 12.

Woodhead carried four times for 22 yards and caught four passes (on four targets) for 23 yards versus Houston. Woodhead doesn’t have a huge role in Baltimore’s offense yet, and Javorius Allen (who scored in the red zone) still remains a factor, but Woodhead remains a FLEX option for PPR leagues next week against Detroit.

Jimmy Garoppolo | Rams QB

Jimmy Garoppolo will start on Sunday for the 49ers.

This will be Garoppolo’s first start with his new team, so the presumptive franchise quarterback will begin what’s hopefully a long string of starting and winning games for San Francisco. Kyle Shanahan’s offense is one of the most difficult to learn in the NFL, and Shanahan has said it could take a couple years to really get the hang of the offense, but Garoppolo will now have these five games to carry momentum into 2018. This will be the 26-year-old’s third career start, but he’s been very impressive in his limited time playing for the Patriots and 49ers over the last couple of seasons. The supporting cast around Garoppolo isn’t great, so he’s not yet a recommended fantasy option, despite his high upside.

11/28/17 - 07:22 PM ET

Doug Baldwin | Free Agent WR

Doug Baldwin gets three touches against the 49ers.

San Francisco has done an excellent job against slot receivers this season, and Baldwin was no different in both matchups versus them this season. The veteran receiver caught two of three targets for 25 yards and added a -5-yard carry in the Week 12 win. Baldwin should do more damage next week against the Eagles, but he does carry some risk in fantasy lineups.

Darren McFadden | Retired RB

Darren McFadden has announced his retirement from the NFL.

After a mutual parting of ways with the Cowboys last week, McFadden is now deciding to call it a career. McFadden’s statement, which he posted on social media, can be read in the link below. As the fourth overall pick out of Arkansas by Al Davis and the Raiders in 2008, McFadden spent seven seasons with Oakland before spending his last three in Dallas with the Cowboys. McFadden battled injuries throughout his career, but he still had a productive one that included 1,302 carries, 5,421 rushing yards, 28 rushing touchdowns, 254 receptions, 2,114 receiving yards, and five receiving touchdowns. His best season was in 2010, when he had 223 carries for 1,157 yards and seven touchdowns along with 47 receptions for 507 yards and three touchdowns. Many of you will also remember McFadden’s final college game against LSU, when he rushed for 206 yards and three touchdowns in a 50-48 upset of the Tigers. We wish McFadden a lot of luck on life after football, and it’s good to see he seems to be at peace with his decision.

Alex Collins | Free Agent RB

Alex Collins scores against the Texans.

Collins continues to get the majority of the carries in Baltimore’s backfield, as he carried 16 times for 60 yards and a touchdown in tonight’s win. He also had a couple of catches for -3 yards in the game. Collins’ touchdown came in a 17-point second quarter for the Ravens on a run to the right inside the ten-yard-line where he received good blocking and basically walked into the end zone. Overall, he ran downhill with power and speed as he has all season, and Collins will look to keep it going next week against the Lions.
