Eddie Lacy | Free Agent RB

Eddie Lacy gets 20 touches against the Niners.

With Mike Davis (groin) out, the Seahawks gave Eddie Lacy another crack at leading the backfield in Week 12. Lacy carried 17 times for 46 yards and added three receptions for 15 yards. Though he wasn’t productive on the ground, Thomas Rawls received zero touches in the game. Even if he’s set for another 15-20 touches in Week 13, Lacy will be difficult to trust against an Eagles defense that’s been playing lights out.

DeAndre Hopkins | Ravens WR

DeAndre Hopkins goes over 100 yards against Baltimore.

Hopkins had another stellar game for the Texans in a losing effort, catching seven of ten targets for 125 yards in the Week 12 defeat to the Ravens. The great receiver was in a battle with the Ravens corners all night, and he had his jersey badly ripped in the game. Hopkins didn’t get in the end zone, but he drew a pass interference call late in the game that set his team up inside the five-yard line. Keep Hopkins in your lineup as a clear WR1 in Week 13.

Russell Wilson | Giants QB

Russell Wilson totals three touchdowns in Seahawks’ win.

Wilson again basically put the offense on his back in Week 12 against the 49ers, going 20/34 for 228 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception while adding seven carries for 25 yards and a touchdown on the ground. The rushing touchdown was on a zone read at the goal line, and the passing scores were to Nick Vannett on a corner route and Jimmy Graham on a slant at the goal line. The Eagles next Sunday night might present the biggest challenge of the season for Wilson, but he’s still an obvious QB1 for the final week of the fantasy regular season for many leagues.

Alfred Blue | Free Agent RB

Alfred Blue gets ten touches versus Baltimore.

Blue carried eight times for 15 yards and added two reception for 11 yards in the Week 12 loss. The fourth-year back had to handle the backfield work at the end of the first half when Lamar Miller left with an injury, but he couldn’t find much room to run against the stingy run defense of the Ravens. Blue is just a handcuff to Miller, who returned to the game and appears to be fine moving forward.

11/28/17 - 12:50 AM ET

Drew Brees | Retired QB

Drew Brees, Saints fall to the Rams in Los Angeles.

Brees was 22/32 for 246 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions in the 26-20 loss. He also rushed once for five yards. New Orleans didn’t do much offensively until they scored 10 points in the fourth quarter, and it was too little, too late as they fell to 8-3. Brees will look to defend the Superdome and stay in first place in the NFC South next Sunday in a huge game against the Panthers. Carolina just allowed Josh McCown to throw for 300 yards and three scores, and this could be an air-it-out game for the Saints. Brees is an elite play.

11/27/17 - 01:38 PM ET

Lamar Miller | Saints RB

Lamar Miller scores against the Ravens.

Miller carried 17 times for 51 yards and a touchdown while adding a seven-yard reception in the Week 12 Monday night loss. Miller did get injured on the sideline toward the end of the first half, but he was able to get back out there for the second half and appeared to be OK. The top back for Houston should continue to get a good workload next week against the Titans and should remain in fantasy lineups.

11/28/17 - 12:49 AM ET

Blaine Gabbert | Free Agent QB

Blaine Gabbert will remain the Cardinals starting quarterback.

This was expected, as Gabbert has played very well in his two starts with the Cardinals, and as we’ve been saying he’s someone that Bruce Arians and the Cardinals might see as an answer at quarterback in 2018 and beyond if Carson Palmer retires. Arians himself said he’d be “very confident” if Palmer retires and Gabbert was the quarterback heading into next season. Gabbert should have these final fives games to play some good football and attempt to show he can run Arians’ offense at a high level. He gets the Rams this Sunday.
