Austin Seferian-Jenkins comes up two plays short of big day in Week 12 loss.

Seferian-Jenkins ended up with two receptions for 27 yards, but he dropped a would-be touchdown in the end zone and had another touchdown not count after review. ASJ has cooled off over the past few weeks, and he’s no better a low-end TE1 option against the Chiefs next Sunday.

Brandin Cooks stays hot in win over the Dolphins.

Cooks caught six passes for 83 yards and a touchdown in a 35-17 victory. He also rushed once for 11 yards. The former Saint is averaging a career-high 17.0 yards per reception, and he’s on pace for a career-best 1,264 receiving yards this season. He will look to keep it going against the Bills as an obvious WR1.

Tom Savage throws two interceptions in Week 12 loss.

Savage was 22/37 for 252 yards and two interceptions and two fumbles lost against the Ravens, as he played well aside from the turnovers. The final interception came on the final drive on a throw over the middle to tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz while the defender’s back was turned (and you could see what Savage saw in trying to fit the throw in there), but the defender turned around and made the easy interception. Savage just needs to eliminate the turnovers, and he should get better with more playing experience, but unfortunately the playoff hopes of the Texans are looking dim at the moment.

Jameis Winston (shoulder) is expected to practice on Wednesday.

Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter says Winston is still doing some rehab, and if he doesn’t have any setbacks he’ll take all the reps in practice on Wednesday. It looks like Winston will be back after missing three games with his shoulder sprain, and he’s worth a pickup if you’re struggling at quarterback right now, as he had over 300 yards in three of the first four games this season before initially injuring his shoulder.

Elijah McGuire gets six touches against the Panthers.

McGuire carried five times for 21 yards and added one reception for 13 yards in the Week 12 loss. The rookie running back is more of a dynasty league option for now, with Matt Forte (knee) back in the lineup for the Jets.

Cameron Artis-Payne gets one carry in Week 12.

CAP didn’t gain any yards on his lone carry versus the Jets. He’s not a fantasy option at the moment.

Michael Crabtree has been suspended for two games.

Woah, this is a big suspension for the altercation in yesterday’s game against Denver. Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib is also suspended for two games for his role in the fight. The two did pretty much start a fight between the two teams, and then when things calmed down they both square up in the end zone and thew a punch at each other, escalating things after they calmed down. In the statement announcing the suspensions, NFL Vice President of Football Operations Jon Runyan concluded: “Such actions have no place in this game, engender ill will between teams, and lead to further confrontations.” Two games might seem a bit much, but the NFL is right that fighting like that should have no place in the game. Both Crabtree and Talib can appeal—and almost certainly will—so there’s a chance this gets taken down to a one-game suspension for both players. As of now, expect to be without Crabtree in fantasy lineups for the final week of the fantasy regular season and the first week of the fantasy playoffs.
