Tyler Higbee caught three passes for 48 yards in Sunday’s win over the Saints.

Higbee’s long reception went for 38 yards when he found himself wide open along the sideline He won’t be a recommended fantasy option next week against a Cardinals team that held him to three receptions for 13 yards in their first meeting.

Eagles shut down Jordan Howard in Week 12.

The league’s third leading rusher going into the game simply had no room to run against the Eagles, gaining six yards on seven attempts and adding two receptions for 13 yards. He should find a lot more room to run next week against the 49ers, so you shouldn’t be worried about having him in your lineup as an RB1.

Matt Breida gets two touches in Week 12.

Breida had a 12-yard carry and a 12-yard reception against the Seahawks. He’s just a handcuff to Carlos Hyde at the moment.

Mitchell Trubisky throws two interceptions in loss to the Eagles.

The rookie quarterback didn’t play a great game, but it was difficult to do much of anything against the red-hot Eagles, who held the Bears to six rushing yards. Trubisky was 17/33 for 147 yards and two interceptions while adding four carries for 12 yards in the Week 12 loss. The young gunslinger again flashed his talent, but a few passes were inaccurate—something he should improve with more experience. Trubisky needs more help around him, so he’s not a recommended fantasy option until next season.

Sammy Watkins gets involved in Week 12 win.

Watkins caught four passes for 82 yards and a touchdown, as he got started early with a five-yard score on the game’s opening drive. The talented receiver also left some plays on the field, though, as he failed to adjust on a deep ball that he allowed go off his hand for an interception, and he couldn’t snatch a perfect back-shoulder pass in the end zone late in the second half. It could have been better, but fantasy owners will take the production from Watkins. He will have a harder time next Sunday against Patrick Peterson and the Cardinals.

Willie Snead held to one reception in Week 12 loss.

It went for nine yards in the red zone, but Snead couldn’t break a tackle to get in the end zone. He just hasn’t been a big part of the offense this year and doesn’t need to be rostered.

Taylor Gabriel caught three passes for 16 yards in Sunday’s win over the Bucs.

Gabriel didn’t have to do much with a front-row seat to the Julio Jones show, but he was the only wide receiver other than Jones and Mohamed Sanu to catch a pass. Still, he’s not a recommended fantasy option next week against Minnesota.
