Matthews was limited last week before not playing against the Chargers, so it’s difficult to feel too good about his status unless he gets a full practice in. Either way, he’s not a recommended fantasy option at the moment.

Laquon Treadwell caught two passes for 10 yards in Sunday’s win over the Rams.
Treadwell is still looking for his first career touchdown, and he isn’t seeing enough playing time to be a redraft option with Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs ahead of him. The Vikings travel to Detroit on Thanksgiving.

Latavius Murray scores twice in win over the Rams.
Murray rushed 15 times for 95 yards and two touchdowns, also adding a one-yard reception. The first touchdown came up the middle from eight yards out in the second quarter, and the second came in the fourth quarter from two yards out. Both were powerful runs that showed why Murray was one of the premier touchdown-scorers in the NFL last season with Oakland. People didn’t want to acknowledge that Latavius was coming off a long recovery from offseason ankle surgery after his slow start to the season, but he’s now scored four touchdowns over the past four games and has rushed 32 times for 163 yards (5.1 yards per carry) and three touchdowns since the bye week. He’s a high-end RB2 on Thanksgiving against Detroit.

Devonta Freeman (concussion) will be limited in practice today.
This is a positive step in the right direction and shows he’s making progress in concussion protocol. If you’re considering Freeman or someone in the Thanksgiving games today, it might be a good idea to wait and hope for Freeman to play given his apparent progress. You can check out our Week 12 rankings to see how the Thanksgiving guys rank compared to Freeman, who would be an RB1 if he plays against the Buccaneers on Sunday.

Tom Brady (Achilles) did not practice today.
This isn’t believed to be a serious injury, but it is still a slight concern. But Brady takes care of his body probably more than any athlete in the history of sports, so we’d expect him to be 100% when he takes the field on Sunday versus Miami.
11/22/17 - 05:51 PM ET
Vernon Davis catches three passes against the Saints.
Davis was targeted six times in the Week 11 loss, gaining 67 yards as he picked up chunk plays for the Redskins. If Jordan Reed (hamstring) is still out, Davis would be an obvious TE1 on Thanksgiving night against the Giants.
11/20/17 - 01:17 PM ET
Josh Doctson continues his emergence.
Doctson put up his highest career receiving total in the Redskins’ loss to the Saints, catching four of seven targets for 81 yards. Doctson’s best catch was when he elevated above a cornerback on a deep ball and came down with it, which is something he did regularly in college at TCU. Last year’s first-round pick appears to be gaining confidence each week, and he could be a difference-maker down the stretch here. Doctson next faces the Giants on Thanksgiving.
