Join now >Devonta Freeman remains in concussion protocol.
It’s still early in the week, but he’s looking iffy for this Sunday against the Buccaneers. The main concern for Freeman is, rightfully and smartly, his long-term health after he suffered his second concussion of the season. If you have someone in the Thanksgiving game tomorrow you’re thinking of playing over Freeman, it might be a good idea to do it.

Lamar Miller gets 26 touches against the Cardinals.
Miller carried 22 times for 61 yards and added four receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown was on a nice catch after Miller came back to the side of the end zone to make himself open while Tom Savage was scrambling to his right. With rookie running back D’Onta Foreman appearing to suffer a season-ending injury at the end of the game, Miller might be in line for 20+ touches every week moving forward. He’ll be a good option even in a tough matchup with Baltimore’s stingy defense in Week 12.

The Texans placed running back D’Onta Foreman on Injured Reserve.
Foreman’s season is done with a torn Achilles. The third-round rookie had a very good rookie season, rushing 78 times for 327 yards and two touchdowns while adding six receptions for 83 yards. The big and powerful running back showed that he’s extremely versatile and can be a weapon out of the backfield, and he’ll be someone that can carry the load for the Texans if needed. Houston still has Lamar Miller under contract for two more seasons, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see Foreman get a lot of work in the backfield in 2018.

Gerald Everett held to one reception in loss.
It went for eight yards. Everett will make some plays, but he’s just a dynasty option at this point.

Kelvin Benjamin (knee) is day-to-day.
The Bills already announced on Monday that Benjamin didn’t suffer any ligament damage to his knee, so this was pretty much expected. Benjamin won’t practice today, but there’s still a chance he plays this Sunday against the Chiefs. Check back in on his practice status Thursday and Friday.

Sammy Watkins gets shadowed by Xavier Rhodes in Week 11 loss.
Watkins caught three passes for 36 yards, as Jared Goff mostly avoided Rhodes’ coverage and connected with Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp a combined 14 times. Sammy has a good spot to bounce back in Week 12 against the Saints, especially with top cornerback Marshon Lattimore hobbled by an ankle injury. He’s a high-upside WR2 in standard leagues.
11/20/17 - 12:33 PM ET
Tyrod Taylor will start in Week 12 for the Bills.
At 5-5 and in the second wild card spot in the AFC, this almost had to happen or Sean McDermott would be at risk of losing the locker room with most guys probably feeling Taylor gives them the best chance to win games. Taylor has played very well this season, and he should continue to play well this Sunday against Kansas City. The only concern about this is Nathan Peterman’s confidence could take a big hit, as he’s been immediately benched after his five-interception first half against the Chargers. Hopefully he’s able to put it behind him and just move forward so he’s ready when another opportunity arises for him. Taylor is worth considering in fantasy lineups this week.
