Join now >Multiple reports: Larry Fitzgerald is close to a contract extension with the Cardinals.
ProFootballTalk was the first to report the news, and it’ll be a one-year extension that keeps Fitz with the team in 2018. While this season is far from over, it’s clearly not gone the way Fitzgerald or the Cardinals anticipated it after major injuries to star running back David Johnson (in the opening game) and quarterback Carson Palmer. So though Fitzgerald has hinted at retirement soon, the future Hall of Famer probably didn’t want to go out like this on a team that’s been hit with a ton of injuries. There’s still seven games to go in 2017, but Fitzgerald should have a strong finish and carry the momentum into next year. This is also probably a good sign for head coach Bruce Arians’ future with the team, as Fitz might not have wanted to commit to another season if it would be for a brand-new coaching staff.

Austin Hooper scores in Week 10 win.
Hooper caught six passes for 49 yards, including a one-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to put Atlanta up 24-7. The second-year tight end now has at least 47 yards in four of his past six games, and he’s scored in two out of three. Still, he’s no better than a low-floor TE1 against Seattle in Week 11.

Jeff Heuerman caught one pass in Sunday night’s loss to New England.
It went for four yards. Heuerman isn’t a fantasy option as he shares snaps with A.J. Derby and Virgil Green.

Todd Gurley goes over 130 total yards in Rams’ win.
Gurley carried 11 times for 68 yards and caught six passes for 68 yards, including a long of 43 yards, in another all-around game. A matchup next week against the Vikings certainly shouldn’t scare you from keeping Gurley in your fantasy lineup, as he’s guaranteed to get a good amount of work for the Rams—especially in a game that could have big playoff implications in the NFC.

Ty Montgomery (ribs) officially did not practice today.
Though the Packers are hopeful Montgomery can play on Sunday against Baltimore, it’s looking like it’ll be rookie Jamaal Williams that carries the load in the backfield. The official injury report for the game will be released tomorrow, so Montgomery would obviously do well to be listed questionable instead of doubtful or out ahead of the weekend.

Julio Jones caught six passes for 57 yards in Sunday’s win over the Cowboys.
Jones injured his ankle last week, but he was good to go against Dallas and led the team in receptions. Julio could be in for a monster game against the Seahawks without Richard Sherman in Week 11 on Monday Night Football. Only Antonio Brown will be the preferred fantasy play.
11/13/17 - 02:29 PM ET
James Develin catches two passes against Denver.
Develin caught a couple of passes in the flat and gained 16 yards. He’s always been reliable on those quick outlet passes, and he also contributed as a lead blocker again. Develin is not a fantasy option, despite his real-life contributions to the team.
