O.J. Howard | Free Agent TE

O.J. Howard held without a catch in Week 10 win.

Cameron Brate had just one reception, as Ryan Fitzpatrick mostly targeted DeSean Jackson and Chris Godwin. Howard isn’t a reliable fantasy option with inconsistent usage, but next week could be a week for him to be involved against Miami. Still, there are better options.

Brandin Cooks | Saints WR

Brandin Cooks gets 11 targets against the Broncos.

This might’ve been the most difficult matchup of the season for Cooks, but he was targeted over double-digits for the first time as a Patriot. Cooks caught six passes for 74 yards, and it was nearly a much bigger game, as on his long reception of 25 yards, he had to stretch out just a little bit and couldn’t keep his balance to turn up the field—perfect timing on the throw and route would’ve likely been a touchdown. Cooks also received a target on a deep ball where it looked like corner Chris Harris got away with holding or pass interference. And late in the game, there were a couple of screen passes that he nearly took all the way—including one on the final play where he was just tripped up after catching it. On the sideline after the final screen to Cooks, it appeared some of the Pats might have been encouraging him some—perhaps they want to continue getting him very involved and it almost seemed like they wanted to get him a touchdown. In Week 11, facing a Raiders team that he torched for 143 yards and two touchdowns while he was with the Saints last season, Cooks is an excellent option and should be in all fantasy lineups.

11/13/17 - 03:27 PM ET

Dez Bryant | Free Agent WR

Dez Bryant starts strong, falls off in loss to Atlanta.

Bryant caught four passes for 39 yards, with most of his production coming on the first drive of the game, which turned out to be the only scoring drive for Dallas. Dez was questionable with an ankle injury, but he didn’t appear to suffer any sort of setback. He should be good to go as a WR2 against Philly next Sunday.

11/13/17 - 02:05 PM ET

Rob Gronkowski | Retired TE

Rob Gronkowski plays well in Week 10.

Gronkowski didn’t have a monster game like what might’ve been expected against the Broncos, but he still caught four of seven targets for 74 yards. Gronk looked like he caught a pass over the middle by the goal line, but the officials ruled it not a catch despite it looking like it was clearly secured—he would’ve been close if not at 100 yards had it been ruled a catch. The All-Pro tight end will be the top tight end option in Week 11 versus the Raiders.

11/13/17 - 03:27 PM ET

Jermaine Kearse | Lions WR

Jermaine Kearse caught four passes for 35 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Buccaneers.

Kearse has taken a backseat to Robby Anderson—who has scored in four-straight games—and he can safely be dropped as New York heads into the bye week. They face the Panthers in Week 12.

11/13/17 - 01:23 PM ET

Brandon Bolden | Free Agent RB

Brandon Bolden gets two touches against the Broncos.

With Mike Gillislee inactive and the Patriots destroying Denver, Bolden—who’s been a contributor on offense in the past and continues to be a huge contributor on special teams—carried twice for one yard. Comically, Tom Brady was yelling from the sideline to help out his buddy Brandon and tell him to get down so the clock would continue running. Again, Bolden is a big-time contributor in real-life to the Patriots, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option.

11/13/17 - 03:26 PM ET

Jason Witten | Retired TE

Jason Witten leads team in receiving thanks to garbage time in 27-7 loss.

Witten caught seven passes for 59 yards, with all but 13 yards coming on short passes with Atlanta playing a shell coverage up 20 points. It was the type of production that proves PPR scoring makes no sense. Witten won’t be a recommended fantasy option next Sunday night against the Eagles.
