Join now >Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) was limited in today’s practice.
After not participating in yesterday’s practice, Thomas is headed in the right direction. It’d be a surprise if he didn’t play, but check back in tomorrow when the official injury report for the game is released by the team.

Ameer Abdullah gets 22 touches in Week 9.
Abdullah carried 21 times for 48 yards and a touchdown while adding one reception for nine yards and fumbling twice (losing one). Overall, it was good to see the Lions commit to the running game, even if it didn’t lead to great results in the box score. The touchdown came on a walk-in on a toss by the goal line, but Abdullah did fumble a goal line carry later in the game and basically sat out the end of the game after it. The fumble shouldn’t be an issue moving forward, and he could get another 20+ carries next week against Cleveland—though keep in mind, the Browns have a good run defense. Abdullah is on pace for 244 carries, 834 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns, 28 receptions, and 176 receiving yards.

Chris Hogan (shoulder) missed practice again.
Hogan is looking doubtful for Sunday night against the Broncos, and it’s possible he’s ruled out tomorrow. If he doesn’t practice, he probably will be ruled out ahead of the weekend.

Matthew Stafford plays lights out as Lions get to .500.
The Lions didn’t punt in this Monday nighter against the Packers, so that tells you how well they played offensively (throwing the ball, at least). Stafford was 26/33 for 361 yards and two touchdowns in the game, with both scores to Marvin Jones on throw to the right side of the end zone on deep/fade routes. Through eight games, the 29-year-old gunslinger is on pace for 4,424 yards, 28 passing touchdowns, and eight interceptions while completing 60.4% of his passes. Detroit faces Cleveland in Week 10.

Dez Bryant (knee/ankle) did not practice today.
This is Bryant’s second missed practice in a row, and the knee is said to be giving him more issues than his ankle. Bryant himself did say he’ll be out there on Sunday, but there’s no guarantee of that. The official injury report for the game will be released sometime tomorrow.
11/9/17 - 07:26 PM ET
Martellus Bennett (shoulder) is inactive for Week 9.
Bennett will miss his first game of the season, but fantasy owners hopefully dropped him long ago anyway. Lance Kendricks and Richard Rodgers will both get work at tight end against Detroit.
11/6/17 - 08:02 PM ET
Julio Jones (ankle) did not practice today.
This is two-straight missed practices for Jones, but he’s gone without much practice time during the week before playing awesome in games on Sundays. Jones will likely be questionable when the official injury report for the game is released, and we’ll see what his practice status is tomorrow.
