Join now >A.J. Green will not be suspended for Week 10.
Green was ejected in the first half of yesterday’s game against the Jaguars after responded to an unnecessary shove from Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey by slamming him down a couple of times and throwing some punches. The normally mild-mannered Green being ejected in the first half probably helped his case in not being suspended an additional game. You can safely insert him into your lineup as a great WR1 against the Titans.

Jordan Reed (hamstring) was limited in practice again.
Two limited practices in a row shows there hasn’t been a setback yet, so that’s a positive sign. As of right now, it feels like Reed will try to get to game day and battle through the injury, but we’ll see how he’s listed tomorrow on the official injury report for the game.

Jamison Crowder (hamstring) remained limited in practice.
Crowder is stringing together some limited participations, but it’d be nice to see him get a full practice in tomorrow before the official injury report for the game comes out. Consider Crowder 50/50 for now, and he’ll likely be listed as questionable tomorrow.

Mike Evans has been suspended one game.
This one is not surprising, as Evans went over and cheapshotted Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore in between plays in yesterday’s loss. Evans should’ve been ejected from the game, but this one-game suspension is probably fair. The suspension can be appealed, which Evans is very likely to do. However, you shouldn’t expect him to be out there in Week 10 against the Jets. Tampa Bay is already without quarterback Jameis Winston (shoulder), so they’ll need guys to step up.

The Patriots claimed tight end Martellus Bennett.
After the Packers released Bennett yesterday, it looked like it might’ve been the end for him. But perhaps the only team that would be able to claim him while getting him to be a team player claimed him, as the Patriots—who were near the bottom of the waiver order—brought him back after he left for Green Bay in free agency during the offseason. There’s a chance he’s inactive this Sunday night versus Denver, but Bennett might eventually slide in as the number two tight end behind Rob Gronkowski. He’d likely be a fantasy asset if anything were to happen to Gronk, but hopefully that doesn’t happen and Bennett can remain on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues.

The Buccaneers are shutting down quarterback Jameis Winston for at least a couple of weeks
Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter just basically said his quarterback needs some time to get healthy while he deals with his sprained AC joint in his right throwing shoulder. The team doesn’t plan on putting Winston on Injured Reserve, but it might be something down the line if the shoulder isn’t back to 100% and the Bucs continue to struggle. For now, it’ll be Ryan Fitzpatrick under center, and no Winston is a big blow to the fantasy value of all fantasy players in Tampa Bay’s offense. Perhaps the team will ride Doug Martin more and give him heavy workloads each week, but he might not get as many scoring opportunities without Winston under center. This is probably killing Winston, who hasn’t missed a game in college or the pros and has said he doesn’t plan on missing games any time soon.

Ezekiel Elliott has been denied a preliminary injunction.
A decision was expected sometime tomorrow, but the Second Circuit made it quick and ruled about an hour after today’s hearing finished. Elliott can appeal this decision too, but it sounds like even with an expedited appeal it will not be heard for a while. Consider Elliott likely to miss the next six games, and it comes at a brutal time for the Cowboys right in middle of the season while they’re two games behind the Eagles in the NFC East. Alfred Morris is now fully expected to fill in as the starter starting this Sunday versus Atlanta, with Rod Smith and Darren McFadden mixing in. Morris might be an RB1 over these next six weeks, so you should pick him up if he’s somehow available in your league. Elliott will be eligible to return in Week 16 against the Seahawks on Christmas Eve, so in most leagues fantasy owners will have to hope they can get to the championship without him.
