Join now >Martellus Bennett (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 10.
Bennett is week-to-week with his shoulder injury. He hasn’t been a fantasy option this season, so it doesn’t have much of a fantasy impact outside of very deep leagues.

Kenyan Drake runs well in Dolphins’ loss.
In the first game without Jay Ajayi for the Dolphins, Drake stepped up to do some damage on the ground versus Oakland. He did fumble early in the game, but he bounced back from that and Dolphins head coach Adam Gase didn’t go away from him. Overall, he carried nine times for 69 yards while adding six receptions for 35 yards. The second-year back broke a long of 42 yards on a nice run where he showed good vision before getting up field. Damien Williams did also play well, particularly as a receiver, and caught a touchdown, but Drake will likely be the lead runner moving forward. Carolina is a tough matchup in Week 10, but Drake will still be a FLEX option.

Teddy Bridgewater (knee) has been activated to the 53-man roster.
It’s an amazing comeback for Bridgewater, who suffered a very serious knee injury over 14 months ago and is now back and able to play for the Vikings. Case Keenum is expected to remain the starter while the team is rolling, but Bridgewater has shown he can play at a very high level and would almost certainly start if Keenum struggles. Bridgewater has great pocket presence, accuracy, and extreme toughness, and it’ll be fun to watch when he’s back on the field. Remember, Bridgewater would’ve had a playoff win over Seattle in 2015 if not for a missed field goal at the end, and he’s won some big games in college at Louisville. Minnesota should—and probably does—have confidence in Bridgewater if they turn to him this year, even though he hasn’t played in a non-preseason game for nearly two years.

Jay Cutler goes over 300 yards with three touchdowns against the Raiders.
Cutler had an excellent game in Miami’s loss, going 34/42 for 311 yards and three touchdowns. He started the game really hot, going 16/16 to start. His touchdowns were to Damien Williams, Jarvis Landry, and Julius Thomas, and Cutler was accurate and made good decisions throughout the night despite the offensive line not allowing him to take many deep shots down the field. In Week 10, Cutler and the Dolphins have another primetime game, this time on Monday night against the Panthers. He’s a steaming option, but most importantly (for fantasy purposes), his presence is a boost to the skill position guys for Miami.

The Vikings are placing Sam Bradford (knee) on Injured Reserve.
After yesterday’s knee scope, Bradford’s season is likely over unless he makes a return in the playoffs as a designated to return player. This is really a shame, as Bradford finally had an offseason where he was healthy and with the same coaching staff as the year before, he had a stellar opening game where he dropped dimes on his way to 346 yards and three touchdowns, and his knee has been giving him trouble ever since. It’s difficult not to feel sorry for Bradford, as just when things are starting to go well (full health, a much improved offensive line, a lot of comfort with the offense, etc.) and he was looking to have an All-Pro caliber season, the knee issue popped up. Bradford is due to become a free agent this offseason, but hopefully he’s able to become healthy again to play in the playoffs if he’s needed. There would certainly be teams interested in signing Bradford if Minnesota opts to go with Teddy Bridgewater or Case Keenum moving forward, with the Cardinals, Jaguars, and Broncos among the potential options.

Julius Thomas has best game of the season in loss to the Raiders.
Thomas caught six passes for 84 yards and a touchdown in a 27-24 defeat. After looking washed up for weeks, the veteran came alive, which possibly had something to do with Adam Gase shipping off Jay Ajayi and waking everyone up. The score was Thomas’ first of the season, and he’s on pace for a 46/504/2 line through eight games. He’s not a recommended fantasy option against Carolina in Week 10.

Sam Bradford had a knee scope, according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.
He’ll be out a few weeks as the hope is the knee scope can improve the left knee that’s caused Bradford to basically miss the entire season after Week 1. It’s certainly possible the Vikings place Bradford on Injured Reserve as a corresponding move when they activate Teddy Bridgewater to the 53-man roster today, but hopefully the team gives Bradford a chance to feel better in a couple of weeks. Bridgewater is an awesome and underrated quarterback, but Bradford has had more time in Pat Shurmur’s offense and would likely be the Vikings’ best option at the position.
