The veteran running back carried ten times for 49 yards and caught two passes for 18 yards. Indy curiously went away from the running game despite some nice gains on the ground early, so hopefully they’ll stick with it more against a soft Jaguars run defense next week. Robert Turbin appeared to have suffered an arm injury that could keep him out next week against Jacksonville, so Gore would likely be in line more short yardage carries if that ends up being the case. Gore is a FLEX option for Week 7.

Vikings improve to 5-2 behind strong running game and defense.
Case Keenum played well and gave his team a chance to win the game, going 20/31 for 188 yards and an interception along with a nine-yard carry. The interception came on a deep shot where he gave receiver Laquon Treadwell a chance to make a play, but it appears Treadwell was interfered with and it was not called. The Vikings now travel to London to face the Browns in Week 8, and hopefully Keenum can put his four-interception performance in London last season behind him, as he’ll probably be under center unless Sam Bradford makes a quick turnaround with his knee injury.

Bears win behind strong defense against the Panthers.
Chicago did an excellent job of making things extremely easy on their rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, as they threw seven passes all game. Trubisky was 4/7 for 107 yards, with the biggest play coming on a 70-yard deep ball to Tarik Cohen that nearly went for a touchdown. Trubisky did almost have a rushing touchdown on a scramble near the end zone, but his knee was down just before he crossed the plane. He’s not a fantasy option right now with a run-heavy gameplan, even with a good matchup against New Orleans next week.

Jerell Adams catches one pass in Week 6.
Adams’ lone reception went for six yards. He’s not a fantasy option at the moment, as his role in the offense isn’t big enough.

Alex Collins gets ten carries in Week 7.
Collins picked up 30 yards on his ten attempts, as the Vikings shut down the running game of the Ravens. He’ll look to find some more room to run against the Dolphins on Thursday night, but Collins is just a FLEX option for that game.
10/23/17 - 01:44 PM ET
Marshawn Lynch has been ejected against the Chiefs.
Lynch had two carries for nine yards before being ejected in the second quarter in the Thursday night contest. He inexcusably ran on the field to try and get Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters, who like Lynch is from Oakland, out of a situation where he was fighting with some Raiders players after he hit Derek Carr late. In the process, Lynch shoved an official, and it’s possible he’s suspended next week. The veteran running back isn’t a good fantasy option anyway, as he appears to be getting phased out of the gameplan and is now probably in danger of being cut. Jack Del Rio and the Raiders cannot be happy about this.

Christian McCaffrey gets 14 touches in Week 7.
The rookie running back from Stanford had seven carries and seven catches (including a spectacular one-handed catch on a high throw from Cam Newton) against the Bears, as he started the game and received the first carry for Carolina. McCaffrey picked up ten yards on his seven carries while catching seven of nine targets for 36 yards. As shown by his less-than-2.0 yards per carry, there wasn’t much room for McCaffrey to run against the Bears stout front seven, but it was good to see him get involved there more on inside runs—he should break one if he keeps getting touches there. Those that have McCaffrey in PPR leagues can safely insert him into lineups as one of the best and safest RB options each week, and while his value isn’t as high there, he’s also a very good standard league option too.
