Join now >Devin Funchess gets eight targets in Week 7.
Funchess’ eight targets were second on the team to running back Christian McCaffrey, and the third-year receiver caught four of them for 41 yards. He worked mostly as Cam Newton’s primary target on intermediate and out-breaking routes, and Funchess now has at least four catches in five of seven games so far this season. Against a Buccaneers defense that’s been giving up a lot of points to opposing fantasy WRs, Funchess should be a good option in Week 8.

Albert Wilson (knee) is active tonight against the Raiders.
Wilson is back after one game and gives a boost to Alex Smith and the Chiefs offense, though he’s not a recommended fantasy option against Oakland.

Griff Whalen catches four passes against Minnesota.
This was Whalen’s first game with the Ravens, as he was signed during the week, and the team needed him after Mike Wallace left the game with a concussion. Whalen picked up 23 yards on his four receptions, and he could see another handful of targets go his way on Thursday night if Wallace, Jeremy Maclin (shoulder), and Breshad Perriman (concussion) are all out again. There are probably better fantasy options out there, though.

Roger Lewis gets two targets in Week 6.
Lewis caught one pass for 15 yards to help keep a drive going for the Giants, but New York wasn’t eager to test Denver’s corners in the game. Seattle is another difficult matchup and Lewis won’t be a recommended fantasy option for Week 7 against them.
10/16/17 - 03:34 PM ET
Charles Sims totals 15 yards in loss to the Bills.
Sims rushed twice for eight yards and caught two passes for seven yards. He isn’t a fantasy option with only a handful of weekly touches behind Doug Martin.
10/23/17 - 10:37 AM ET
Jeff Heuerman catches first career touchdown in SNF loss.
Heuerman scored on a 13-yard pass in the fourth quarter, and he finished with two catches for 24 yards. The former third-round pick isn’t a fantasy option heading into next week’s matchup with the Chargers.
10/16/17 - 03:55 PM ET
Ed Dickson catches three passes against the Bears.
Dickson couldn’t get much going against Chicago, as he gained only 18 yards on his three receptions (five targets). The Buccaneers have been OK against tight ends this season, but Dickson is still in the TE1 conversation for their Week 8 matchup.
