J.J. Nelson | Free Agent WR

J.J. Nelson gets five targets in Week 7.

Nelson caught two passes for 35 yards in a loss to the Rams. Carson Palmer and his excellent deep ball is out of the lineup now, which limits the speedster’s fantasy value moving forward. He might be able to still have a solid game when the Cardinals emerge from their Week 8 bye to face the 49ers, though.

Larry Fitzgerald | Cardinals WR

Larry Fitzgerald catches all three targets against the Rams.

Fitz gained 29 yards on his three receptions in the Cardinals’ loss in London, but the bigger loss might’ve been quarterback Carson Palmer to a broken arm. Fitzgerald was clearly upset after the loss, saying that losing Palmer is a tough pill to swallow. Perhaps new starter Drew Stanton will target him heavily, but Fitz’s fantasy value probably takes a decent hit without Palmer in the lineup. It’s difficult not to feel bad for Fitzgerald, whose team’s have had some bad luck as he nears the end of his career, but hopefully the Cardinals can remain competitive in the coming weeks.

10/23/17 - 12:18 PM ET

Devontae Booker | Free Agent RB

Devontae Booker impresses as a receiver in loss to the Giants.

Booker was helped by some garbage time production, but he made a nice one-handed grab and finished with four catches for 78 yards in his second game of the season. The young running back looked smooth out of the backfield, and his ability as a pass-catcher was apparently talked up by coaches during the week. Booker is worth monitoring, especially if C.J. Anderson continues to be inconsistent as the starter.

10/16/17 - 03:45 PM ET

Brandon Williams | Colts TE

Brandon Williams catches one pass against the Jags.

Williams gained six yards on his lone reception of the Colts’ Week 7 loss. He’s off the fantasy radar right now, as he’s more of a real-life contributor for the Colts that won’t show up on the stat sheet some weeks.

10/23/17 - 01:33 PM ET

Seth Roberts | Free Agent WR

Seth Roberts catches one pass against the Chiefs.

Roberts was targeted six times in the Thursday night contest, gaining 15 yards on his lone reception. Roberts is someone Derek Carr trusts behind Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree, but he doesn’t get enough work to be a recommended fantasy option.

10/20/17 - 10:53 AM ET

Demetrius Harris | Cardinals TE

Demetrius Harris catches two passes in Week 7.

Harris had 16 yards on his two receptions in Kanas City’s Thursday night loss to Oakland. He’s not a reliable fantasy option at the moment, despite his contributions to the Chiefs.

10/20/17 - 10:44 AM ET

Golden Tate | Free Agent WR

Golden Tate (shoulder) is expected to miss time, according to Ian Rapoport.

According to Rapoport, Tate is likely to miss “a few weeks” with an AC joint sprain. The Lions luckily have a bye this week, so maybe Tate can rest for a week and somehow be ready to go for Week 8. The good news is rookie receiver Kenny Golladay is expected back in Week 8 after missing the last three games with a hamstring injury. We might not know more about Tate until next week.
