Sam Bradford | Free Agent QB

Sam Bradford (knee) is officially out for Week 6.

This was fully expected, as Bradford is going to need some time to get his knee back to 100%. It’s really unfortunate for both the Vikings and him personally, so hopefully he’s able to get healthy soon, put the knee issue behind him, and have an outstanding stretch for a Vikings playoff push.

Alshon Jeffery | Free Agent WR

Alshon Jeffery the latest to be held in check by Patrick Peterson, but Eagles easily beat Cardinals.

Jeffery caught three passes for 31 yards, as besides a 16-yard reception where Peterson inexplicably missed on a press, he couldn’t do much against the superstar corner. Fortunately, he didn’t need to with the rest of the Eagles dominating. Alshon should be better on Thursday night against the Panthers. He’s a quality WR2.

Stefon Diggs | Patriots WR

Stefon Diggs (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday against Green Bay.

Diggs was not able to practice all week, so the Vikings went ahead and ruled him out for the game. This is clearly a big blow to the Vikings in a game they’ll probably have to score to keep up with Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. And fantasy owners also need to find a replacement for one of their better players. Diggs did say the injury isn’t as bad as the one that forced him to miss three games last season, but consider the receiver questionable for Week 7. Michael Floyd and Laquon Treadwell could each see bigger roles on Sunday, and Adam Thielen—who went over 200 yards against Green Bay in their Week 16 game last season—could be heavily targeted in the contest.

10/13/17 - 01:29 PM ET

Blake Bortles | Retired QB

Blake Bortles throws only 14 passes as the Jags upset the Steelers.

The Jaguars continue to ride their defense and limit Bortles’ pass attempts to avoids mistakes. Bortles was 8/14 for 95 yards and an interception against Pittsburgh. He’s not getting nearly enough volume to be a reliable fantasy option.

10/9/17 - 01:17 PM ET

Matt Forte | Retired RB

Matt Forte (knee/toe) was a full participant in today’s practice.

The veteran running back is ready to go against the Patriots and should have a decent workload with Bilal Powell (calf, questionable) unlikely to play after missing practice all week. Rookie Elijah McGuire is also certain to get backfield touches, but both guys are in the FLEX conversation if Powell is out.

10/13/17 - 12:52 PM ET

Zach Ertz | Commanders TE

Zach Ertz performs in a tough matchup as Eagles easily top the Cardinals.

Ertz caught six passes for 61 yards and a touchdown in a 34-7 victory. The 26-year-old continues his breakout season, and he looks like the clear third-best fantasy tight end behind Rob Gronkowski and Travis Kelce. Ertz will face another difficult matchup against the Panthers on Thursday night, but he’s proven to be a matchup-proof play.

10/9/17 - 01:16 PM ET

Bilal Powell | Retired RB

Bilal Powell (calf) did not practice today.

He’s officially listed as questionable for the game, but it would be surprising if he played after not practicing all week. Meanwhile, Matt Forte is set to return after missing a couple games and will likely split the carries with rookie Elijah McGuire. Check in on Sunday about Powell’s status, but don’t expect him to be active against New England.
