Marcus Mariota | Commanders QB

Marcus Mariota (hamstring) is officially questionable for Monday night.

The Titans are optimistic about their star quarterback being able to play, but we likely won’t know until before game time on Monday. This puts fantasy owners in a very difficult position, as it could be a gamble sticking with Mariota in your lineup instead of going with someone from the Sunday games. If you want to risk inserted Mariota in your lineup for the good matchup, be prepared to insert Jacoby Brisset or Matt Cassel into your QB slot in case the third-year quarterback is inactive.

Le'Veon Bell | Free Agent RB

Le’Veon Bell handles 25 touches in Week 5 loss to the Jags.

Bell rushed 15 times for 47 yards and caught 10 passes for 46 yards, and he was held out of the end zone. Pittsburgh should have ran the ball more in what turned out to be a 30-9 loss, but it’s another concerning game for their offense and superstar running back. Bell is averaging fewer than 4.0 yards per touch through five games, which is shocking. He remains a high-end RB1 play, but he isn’t the same with Big Ben struggling. Maybe he’ll go off against the Chiefs on Sunday.

Marcus Mariota | Commanders QB

Mariota (hamstring) hasn’t sprinted fully yet.

He again was a limited participant in practice today, doing a little more than yesterday according to Titans head coach Mike Mularkey. The Titans are “hopeful” Mariota can play, but not getting into a full sprint yet it a slight concern. Maybe he’ll test it on tomorrow in the week’s final practice, and we’ll see how he’s listed when the official injury report for the game is released sometime tomorrow. Mariota will likely be questionable and a game-time decision.

Thomas Rawls | Free Agent RB

Seahawks split rushing load in Week 5.

Thomas Rawls received eight carries for 20 yards along with two receptions for 15 yards against the Rams. The run blocking remains an issue for the Seahawks, as the backs didn’t have much room to navigate in the game. Rawls did work in one some passing situations, and he could’ve had a nice gain if Russell Wilson was able to hit on on the sideline while scrambling. Eddie Lacy started the game for Seattle but, like Rawls, had ten touches in the game and couldn’t find much room to run. It’s difficult to trust either of them in your lineup until the Seahawks commit to running the ball, but they should both be on fantasy rosters.

Ezekiel Elliott | Chargers RB

Ezekiel Elliott’s legal team is attempting to get the preliminary injunction back.

Yesterday, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against Elliott’s preliminary injunction, immediately making the six-game suspension active again. Now, Elliott is trying to get the entire 5th Circuit Court (three judges were on the panel for yesterday’s decision) to hear the case instead of going up to New York to refile (the NFL would reportedly prefer NY). There’s a chance Elliott gets the preliminary injunction reinstated, which would allow him to play (just as he has the first five games of the season) while the NFL and NFLPA continue to battle in court. Now we just wait, but for the moment count on Elliott being suspended when the Cowboys next play in Week 7 after their bye.

Corey Grant | Free Agent RB

Corey Grant gets one target in Week 5.

He didn’t have any reception in the game and he is not a reliable fantasy option despite continuing to play over former second-round pick T.J. Yeldon.

10/9/17 - 01:29 PM ET

Mohamed Sanu | Free Agent WR

Mohamed Sanu (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 6.

Sanu didn’t practice all week and probably wasn’t close to playing this week, despite coming off the bye. He should maybe be considered less than 50/50 for Week 7. Taylor Gabriel, who could see an uptick in targets with Sanu out, has some high upside against Miami on Sunday.
