Join now >Matt Cassel plays OK in Week 5.
With Marcus Mariota (hamstring) out, the veteran quarterback started for the Titans, but they came up short against Miami. Cassel was 21/32 for 141 yards and one touchdown in the game, but he did lose a fumble. He played fine and completed passes versus the Dolphins, but the running game couldn’t get anything going which didn’t help things. Hopefully Marcus Mariota is back on Monday night against the Colts in Week 6, but Cassel offers sneaky upside in very deep leagues if he makes another start against a vulnerable Colts secondary.

Devin Funchess keeps it going in win over the Lions.
After a two-touchdown performance in Week 4, Funchess caught seven passes for 53 yards and another score. The former Michigan tight end has been really impressive in 2017, as since the season opener, he’s had lines of 4/68, 4/58, 7/70/2, and yesterday’s 7/53/1. Funchess looks comfortable as a receiver, and his route running has been noticeably better in his third year. He should be picked up in all leagues, and gets a good matchup against the Eagles on Thursday night.
10/9/17 - 11:55 AM ET
Bryce Treggs caught two passes for 28 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Jets.
Treggs was a practice squad player for the Eagles until the Browns signed him last week, and he saw six targets in his team debut. The 23-year-old has some speed and wiggle to his game, and he’s someone to keep an eye on for Cleveland.
10/9/17 - 11:23 AM ET
Jarvis Landry gets ten targets in Dolphins’ win.
Landry caught five of ten targets for 44 yards and a touchdown versus the Titans. The score came on a stick route near the end zone. Landry should be in PPR lineups next week against the Falcons, and he could be a lock for another 10+ targets if DeVante Parker (ankle) was forced to miss the game.
10/9/17 - 11:54 AM ET
Kasen Williams caught four passes for 33 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Jets.
Williams was a preseason star for Seattle, but this was his first game with more than one reception for the Browns. Perhaps he showed enough to earn more snaps in the coming weeks, but Williams can stay on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues.
10/9/17 - 11:21 AM ET
Kenyan Drake gets one carry in Week 5.
He picked up no yards on his only touch of the game. Drake is just a Jay Ajayi handcuff right now.
10/9/17 - 11:52 AM ET
Brandon Williams catches all three targets in Week 5.
Williams gained 17 yards on his three catches. Even if Jack Doyle (concussion) misses Week 6, Williams isn’t a recommended fantasy option.
