Join now >Josh Jacobs (ribs) is officially active for Sunday Night Football.
Jacobs was injured in last week’s win, but the expectation had been that he’d play tonight, and that will be the case. Peyton Barber might again see a decent amount of playing time, though Jacobs surely wants to tough it out as best he can to help get Las Vegas into the postseason. Jacobs was limited to 40 yards on 13 carries in the first matchup against the Chargers.

Taysom Hill is heading to the locker room.
Hill has his shoe off and appears to be dealing with a potentially serious foot injury, so we’d be surprised if he returned to the Week 18 matchup at Atlanta. Hill had been playing well and is giving the Saints a shot to make the postseason, so this is really unfortunate. Trevor Siemian is now in the game for the Saints.

Cyril Grayson (hamstring) has been ruled out for the rest of Week 18.
Grayson pulled at the back of his leg, so this isn’t a surprise, and it’s not a great sign that the speedster is being ruled out so early against the Panthers. Grayson did not have any receptions before leaving. It’s a tough break for him considering he’d recently gained a lot of confidence from Tom Brady and Bruce Arians after a strong stretch over the past few games.

James Conner (heel) is officially active.
Conner will be back in the lead role with Chase Edmonds (ribs/toe) out, so he brings plenty of upside as the Cardinals try to win the NFC West by defeating the Seahawks and getting help from San Francisco. The veteran—who has 16 touchdowns in 14 games this season—is reasonably priced in DFS play, and he had 99 total yards and a touchdown in the first matchup versus Seattle.

Jimmy Garoppolo (thumb) is officially active for Week 18.
Garoppolo will play in a win-and-in game for San Francisco, and his presence will be a boost to the team’s top pass-catchers. Deebo Samuel said that Jimmy G looked like himself at practice this week, so the hope is that no throws will get away from him as he deals with the thumb injury. Consider Garoppolo a quality QB2 if you’re still playing in Week 18.

Tyree Jackson suffered a torn ACL.
The hope was that it wasn’t a torn ACL for Jackson suffered in last night’s game, but unfortunately an MRI showed an ACL tear. This comes after Jackson scored his first career touchdown last night, so it’s a tough break for a player that was developing at tight end. The former quarterback now faces a lengthy rehab process, and we wish him luck on his recovery.

Kareem Hunt (ankle) is inactive for Week 18.
Hunt will miss the final game of the year, and D’Ernest Johnson will step into the No. 2 role once again—potentially with a heavy workload if Nick Chubb doesn’t get fed with Cleveland out of playoff contention. As for Hunt, injuries limited him to just 100 touches this season, but he was still very effective with 560 total yards and five touchdowns. He’ll be a low-end RB2/FLEX option if back with the Browns in 2022.
