Brandon Tate | Free Agent WR

Brandon Tate scores against his former team.

The 30-year-old receiver caught two passes for 25 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Bengals. The touchdown was a very good catch in the back of the end zone in between defenders. While Tate might have a bigger role with Jordan Matthews out, he’s probably not a reliable option in fantasy lineups and can remain on the waiver wire.

Nick O'Leary | Raiders TE

Nick O’Leary leads Buffalo in receiving in Week 5.

O’Leary caught five of six targets for 54 yards, including a long of 19, against the Bengals. With Charles Clay going down with what looks like it could be a serious knee injury, O’Leary could emerge as a very good TE option. He’s worth a pickup if you’re looking for a tight end of if you need a bye-week fill-in.

10/9/17 - 10:05 AM ET

Mike Tolbert | Bills RB

Mike Tolbert gets six touches in Bills’ loss.

Tolbert had three carries for 16 yards and three receptions for 18 yards versus Cincinnati. He’ll have some good weeks, but it’s hard to trust him in fantasy lineups.

10/9/17 - 10:03 AM ET

LeSean McCoy | Retired RB

LeSean McCoy can’t get much going in Week 5.

The Bengals did a good job on Shady, limiting him to 63 yards on his 19 carries. McCoy also added six receptions (on nine targets) for 26 yards in the loss to Cincinnati. It’s still early, but McCoy has no touchdowns this season and is averaging only 3.2 yards per carry. Maybe he can turn it on when the team comes out of its Week 6 bye, but it’s looking like he might not be a great RB1 despite the heavy workload.

10/9/17 - 10:02 AM ET

Tyrod Taylor | Jets QB

Tyrod Taylor, Bills lose close one to Bengals.

The Bills quarterback was 20/37 for 166 yards, one touchdown, and one interception against the Bills while adding only one carry for one yard. It was rainy, subpar conditions for much of the game, but the Bengals also play tough defense and it was a low-scoring game. Taylor’s touchdown was a 12-yarder to Brandon Tate on a nice throw to the back of end zone between defenders. And the interception came at the end of the game on an overthrown ball into coverage that was easily intercepted by George Iloka, sealing the win for Cincinnati. The Bills have a bye in Week 6 followed by a game versus Tampa Bay in Week 7.

10/9/17 - 09:59 AM ET

Chris Conley | Free Agent WR

Chris Conley gets carted off with lower leg injury.

This looks to be a very serious injury for the fourth-year receiver, as a slow motion shot showed his calf “rippling.” Obviously, it’s early to say for certain what the injury is, but it certainly looks to be an Achilles injury for Conley. It’s very unfortunate to see, and—though he doesn’t put up huge numbers—he’s a big part of the Chiefs offense and they’ll need to find ways to replace him. Second-year receiver Demarcus Robinson is a candidate for more snaps.

10/8/17 - 11:47 PM ET

Travis Kelce | Chiefs TE

Travis Kelce is being evaluated for a concussion.

Kelce is having a big night against the Texans, and his team is up 23-7. Hopefully it’s not too bad and the All-Pro tight end is able to get back out there.
