Luke Willson | Retired TE

Luke Willson scores in Week 4 win.

It was a six-yard reception in the fourth quarter and his only catch of the game. Willson makes some plays, but he isn’t a fantasy option.

J.J. Nelson | Free Agent WR

J.J. Nelson sees decrease in playing time with John Brown’s return to the lineup.

Nelson was coming into Week 4 with a hamstring injury, but he was active, and caught three passes for 34 yards in the win. It appears the starters at receiver right now are Larry Fitzgerald, John Brown, and Jaron Brown, so Nelson is the odd man out. Even with a great matchup in Week 5 against the Eagles, Nelson probably can’t be trusted in fantasy lineups. As long as John Brown is healthy, he can remain on the waiver wire.

Donte Moncrief | Texans WR

Donte Moncrief scores in Week 4.

Moncrief caught all three targets and gained 30 yards with the score against the Seahawks. The touchdown was his first of the season and it came on a nice leaping catch on a jump ball in the end zone fro 18 yards. Through four games, Moncrief is on pace for 32 receptions, 568 yards, and four touchdowns, but his numbers should take a jump when Andrew Luck returns.

10/2/17 - 03:27 PM ET

Jalen Richard | Free Agent RB

Jalen Richard rushed twice for seven yards in Sunday’s loss.

He also caught a 20-yard pass. Richard got the second-most carries on the team behind an ineffective Marshawn Lynch. The second-year back might get more work if Lynch continues to struggle, but he’s not worth keeping on the bench in standard leagues at the moment.

10/2/17 - 02:34 PM ET

Doug Baldwin | Free Agent WR

Doug Baldwin caught three passes for 35 yards in Sunday’s win over the Colts.

Baldwin was a game-time decision due to a groin injury, but they went to him early with a 27-yard catch on the first drive. He was quiet after that besides catching a two-point conversion, but should be healthier next week against the Rams. He’s a low-end WR2/FLEX option.

10/2/17 - 03:49 PM ET

Tyrod Taylor | Jets QB

Tyrod Taylor helps lead Bills to 23-17 upset over the Falcons in Atlanta.

Taylor was 12/20 for 182 yards and one touchdown. He also rushed seven times for 12 yards. He didn’t have to get in a shootout with Matt Ryan, as the Falcons lost both Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu to injuries, but Tyrod make plays when he needed to, getting the Bills to 3-1 and first place in the AFC East. He is on pace for 2,976 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, and four interceptions this season. The weapons around him limit his fantasy upside, but Taylor is playing winning football in 2017. He might be the most underrated quarterback in the NFL.

10/2/17 - 11:31 AM ET

Philip Rivers | Retired QB

Philip Rivers plays well, but the Chargers drop to 0-4.

The veteran signal-caller was 22/38 for 347 yards with two touchdowns and a fumble lost against the Eagles. The fumble came in Eagles territory when Rivers was scrambling left and had it stripped before he threw it. The first touchdown was on a 75-yard bomb to Tyrell Williams, and the second was on a throw to the back of the end zone to Hunter Henry. Rivers and the Chargers had 14 fourth-quarter points, but they again came up short, losing by two points. Rivers is on pace for 4,428 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions through four games. He faces draft-mate Eli Manning next week as the Chargers face the Giants in New Jersey.
