DeSean Jackson | Retired WR

DeSean Jackson held in check on Sunday.

He caught two passes for 20 yards as the Bucs defeated the Giants. Jackson is probably going to be asking for the ball this Thursday night against New England, and with the way they’ve executed coverage schemes, there’s a good chance he can get deep against them. Still, Jackson is no more than a high-upside FLEX option in Week 5.

Rishard Matthews | Retired WR

Rishard Matthews catches three passes for 49 yards in Week 4 loss.

Matthews was targeted eight times in the game against the Texans. Through four games, he’s on pace for 68 receptions for 1,000 yards and four touchdowns, which he would do well to be right around. Matthews faces his former team, the Dolphins, next week.

10/2/17 - 11:06 AM ET

Wendell Smallwood | Steelers RB

Wendell Smallwood gets 14 touches in Week 4.

Smallwood carried ten times for 34 yards and a touchdown, along with four receptions for 45 yards against the Chargers. The second-year back started the game and scored the touchdown on a nice run, but LeGarrette Blount was more effective as a runner overall. Still, Smallwood looks like he’ll be the main receiving back for the Eagles while also getting a good amount of carries. He’s worth an add if he’s on the waiver wire and you’re looking for a back.

10/2/17 - 02:15 PM ET

Rhett Ellison | Retired TE

Rhett Ellison scores in Week 4.

Ellison caught two passes (on two targets) for 11 yards against the Bucs, including the touchdown which came on Eli Manning scrambling and finding Ellison wide open in the middle of the end zone. Ellison is not a reliable fantasy option right now, as he’s more of a real-life contributor.

10/2/17 - 03:14 PM ET

Delanie Walker | Free Agent TE

Delanie Walker gets seven targets in Week 4.

Walker had three receptions for 51 yards, including a long of 21, in the loss to Houston. Through four games, Walker is on pace for 72 receptions for 876 yards and no touchdowns. The touchdowns should come, though, and Walker remains one of the better tight end options out there.

10/2/17 - 11:04 AM ET

Mike Evans | Buccaneers WR

Mike Evans caught five passes for 67 yards and one touchdown in Sunday’s win over the Giants.

Evans was able to use size to his advantage against Janoris Jenkins, including on his six-yard score. The big-bodied receiver is sure to be a focus of Bill Belichick and the Patriots on Thursday night, and even with their struggles this year, we’d consider Evans more of a WR2 than WR1 for Week 5.
