Join now >Devonta Freeman handles 20 touches in Week 4 loss.
He rushed 18 times for 58 yards and a touchdown, adding two catches for 20 yards through the air. Tevin Coleman was much more effective with his touches, turning 13 of them into 144 yards, but Atlanta continues to give Freeman big workloads. Through four weeks, Freeman is out-carrying his backfield mate 70 to 29, but Coleman does have four more receptions. Despite the starter’s pace of 1,140 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him lose work to Coleman when the team returns from their Week 5 bye.

Joe Mixon gets 21 touches in Week 4.
The rookie running back was limited by the Browns, carrying 17 times for 29 yards and catching four passes for 19 yards. But the good sign is he dominated the backfield work in terms of touches, as Jeremy Hill had seven touches and Giovani Bernard had six touches. Mixon has a ton of upside as a very talented player that’s getting a lot of touches, but he has a very difficult matchup in Week 5 against the Bills. He could be a buy-low candidate if he doesn’t have a solid game next Sunday.

Darren Sproles has both a torn ACL and broken arm, according to ESPN.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen reported the news. When the play first happened, we initially thought it was a knee injury after it appeared Sproles was grabbing at his knee, but they ruled it an arm injury. Unfortunately, he did indeed injure his knee as well on the play, and he’ll miss the entire 2017 season. It’s a huge loss for the Eagles, but it’s obviously even worse for Sproles. The 34-year-old running back had indicated this would be his last season, and now this happened. Everyone would love to see Sproles back next season, but it’ll take a long rehab, so we’ll have to see what happens. Sproles toughness has to be admired by everyone, as he walked off the field and was reportedly around the locker room like nothing was wrong—despite a broken arm and torn knee. Especially today with everyone being so dramatic, it’s more difficult to find people with the kind of toughness Sproles has.

Kareem Hunt continues to make history in win over the Chargers.
Hunt became the first player in NFL history to score a 50-yard touchdown of any kind in three-straight games to start a career with his 69-yard score in the fourth quarter of a 24-10 win. He finished the game with 17 carries for 172 yards and one touchdown, adding and 11-yard reception. We are three weeks into the 2017 season, and the rookie is already a fantasy superstar, and he’s probably the favorite to be the highest-scoring non-quarterback this year. Hunt is a high-end RB1 for Monday night’s matchup with the Redskins.

Ed Dickson produces in Week 5.
According to Troy Aikman on the FOX broadcast, the Panthers said they want to get their tight end more involved, and they did. Dickson caught three of four targets for 62 yards in the win over the Patriots. He’s worth a look on the waiver wire in deeper leagues or if you just need tight end help.

Delanie Walker gets six targets in Week 3.
He caught four passes for 31 yards against the Seahawks. It definitely wasn’t a bad game or anything, but Walker will look to put up better numbers next week against the Texans.

Dez Bryant scores in Week 3.
Facing All-Pro cornerback Patrick Peterson for much of the night, Bryant was only targeted twice and caught both targets for 12 yards; but he was able to score on a great-effort play against a zone coverage where he caught a short pass and took it 15 yards to the end zone, juking and breaking tackles before getting pushed to the end zone by his teammates. The touchdown saved his fantasy day, but Dez should have a better overall game in terms of numbers on Sunday against the Rams.
