Davante Adams | Rams WR

Davante Adams gets carted off against the Bears.

Adams took an ugly hit in the third quarter when Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan led with his helmet right into Adams’ on a third down. Adams laid almost motionless on the field, and they brought out the stretcher for him. We just need to pray that Adams ends up being OK after this scary situation. He had two receptions for 13 yards and a touchdown before leaving.

Chris Hogan | Retired WR

Chris Hogan catches two touchdown in Week 3.

Hogan caught two of the first three touchdowns for New England, with the first coming on a wide open crossing route off a play-action fake and the second coming on a 47-yard post route where he was also wide open down the middle of the field. He had four receptions for 68 yards and two touchdowns total in the game. Hogan obviously offers a lot of upside each week, including Week 4 against Carolina.

Jay Ajayi | Free Agent RB

Jay Ajayi (knee) is officially active.

This was the expectation despite Ajayi being listed as questionable for the game. The London-born bruiser is playing in his hometown so you can expect him to be ready to go in this one, especially with many of his friends and family at the game. Given his matchup and the fact he’s playing in London, Ajayi might be the premiere running back play of Week 4.

10/1/17 - 08:37 AM ET

Cam Newton | Free Agent QB

Cam Newton struggles mightily in Week 3 loss.

Newton was 17/26 for 167 yards and three interceptions. If not for a three-yard rushing touchdown (he finished with three carries for 16 yards), it would have been an even worse fantasy performance for Cam. He also fumbled twice, but neither was lost, and gave way to backup Derek Anderson in the fourth quarter with the game seemingly out of reach. After failing in a slam-dunk spot, it might be time to bench Newton, as even considering his offseason shoulder surgery, his 2015 MVP season is beginning to look like an outlier. He gets the Patriots next week in Foxborough.

9/25/17 - 11:33 AM ET

Devontae Booker | Free Agent RB

Devontae Booker (wrist) is not on the injury report.

It looks like the second-year back will make his season debut this Sunday against the Raiders. Because he missed several weeks and is likely to be behind both C.J. Anderson and Jamaal Charles in his return, Booker should not be in fantasy lineups. However, he’s worth an add as someone with upside, though this is clearly C.J. Anderson’s backfield right now, and Charles is doing a great job mixing in right now.

9/28/17 - 08:13 PM ET

Sammie Coates | Free Agent WR

Sammie Coates (hamstring) practiced on a limited basis today.

Coates is back on the practice field and headed in the right direction to be active on Sunday against the Bengals. We’ll see how he’s listed tomorrow when the official injury report is released.

9/28/17 - 07:27 PM ET

Benny Cunningham | Jaguars RB

Benny Cunningham caught three passes for 23 yards in Sunday’s win over the Steelers.

The catches and yards were actually both third on the team, and both behind fellow backs Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen. He doesn’t need to be rostered behind Howard and Cohen, but Cunningham is worth keeping in mind due to Howard’s shoulder injury. The Bears travel to Green Bay to face the Packers on Thursday night.
